Escape?

I woke up in the same spot in the closet, I realized that I had been unconscious, but for how long? I smiled, remembering my clever escape, it was easy, if I stopped breathing, he'd stop choking. I rubbed my neck, it was red and bloody, I tried to stand up, but I didn't have the strength. I eventually gained enough energy to crawl and I crawled to the door, then pressed my ear up to it, I heard footsteps, I quickly made it back to my original spot and pretended to be dead. The door creaked open and the light turned on, I heard a hoarse gasp, I opened my eyes and stared at Matt, covering his mouth in horror of what he saw, his eyes fell on me and he ran up to my body, tears filled his eyes, he grabbed my wrist, feeling my pulse, he let out a sigh, "You can't scare me like that, kid." he said, lifting me up, "Can you hold on? I'm gonna try to get you out of here." I looked at my arms and nodded, he put me on his backpack and I wrapped my arms around him. "Don't worry," He said, "I threw a rock over the fence, that should keep Slender busy long enough for us to get out of here." I tried to reply, but only a little choke came out, Matt pat my head, "Shh, don't try to talk. I don't think you'll be able to for a while." he turned off the light, shut the door and walked away from the room. We walked past the kitchen and Matt grabbed a butcher knife, then put it in his pocket, "It'll be for you, though I don't plan on us splitting up again." he whispered. He started to go towards the door when I tugged on his shirt, the page on the floor! "What is it?" Matt asked, I pointed to the page, he looked at it, "Oh, how did that get here? Good eye Charlotte." he picked it up and put it in his other pocket. "Speaking of which," He said, walking out the door, "I found another page, that makes 4." he reached back into that pocket and pulled out another page, "Always Watches No Eyes" and it showed a crude drawing of Slender's head with X's where the eyes should be. I felt the urge to turn around after reading it, but my neck was in too much pain, the pages were starting to creep me out. Matt walked through the woods until he stopped somewhere, he pressed his hands over his ears, static. "He's here?! But how?!" He didn't dare turn around, he ran forward, until we met a building, it looked like a weird maze. "Charlotte, I can't turn around, if I do and he's there, we'll be dead, can you try?" I tried to move my head around, but it hurt too much to continue, I placed my hands on his head and shook his head 'no'. He sighed, "Ok, then I guess we have to go in there." Matt continued to the entrance, we kept walking through, he suddenly stopped, looking into a room, it was empty, except for a single chair. He walked into the room and placed me in the chair, "You stay here, if Slender catches me, you're too weak to fight back. I know I said I didn't want to split up, but I can't let him get to you again. I'll try to lead him somewhere else, I'll come back, eventually." I grabbed onto his arm, I really didn't want us to split up, he thinks Slenderman will go after him, but what if he found me? Matt looked at me, "Oh yeah," he said, reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the knife and placed it in my hands. "I'm sorry, I have to go, just have this ready just in case." He walked out of the room and I squirmed off the chair, I looked back on it, I had felt something, and I saw it too. A page. It showed little drawings of trees, with Slender hiding in the middle of them, blending in, I didn't grab it, I knew it would attract him. After waiting there for a few minutes, I heard footsteps, I hoped it was Matt, I held the knife in my hands and looked at the hallway door. Then I sat there in horror as Slenderman walked by, looking for Matt, he suddenly stopped moving, he turned his head over and was now staring directly at me. I strained my throat until a little squeal came out, "Matt?" Slender walked towards me, "Matt!" I squeaked louder. I heard footsteps far behind Slender, "Charlotte, is everything ok? I told you not to try to talk." I backed up until I hit the wall, "Matt!" I squealed again, holding the knife up to Slender shakily, it was heavier than I expected. Slender wrapped a tentacle around the knife and took it out of my hands, throwing it at the wall. I looked up at him, with eyes full of hopelessness, "Matt." I let the sad squeak slip out once more. Slender wrapped a tentacle around my left leg, then slowly started to life me up, upside down. "Charlotte? Is everything okay? I'm coming back now okay?" Slender quickly put a tentacle around my mouth, not like I could talk well anyways. Matt's footsteps increased speed, "Charlotte, okay?!" he yelled, "Charlotte?!" he eventually met up to the room, his axe in hand. He gasped, then went to swing, but missed. Slowly, a tentacle wrapped around my neck like a snake. I tried to grab it with my hands and pull it away, but my arms were too weak. Matt noticed this, "Leave her alone!" he cried, then swung his axe and hit one of the tentacles, the pain caused Slender to drop me, I fell to the ground and pain shot through my body. "Charlotte!" He said, I crawled over to the chair and picked up the page, I crinkled it up and tossed it to Matt, he unwrinkled it and put it in his pocket, "Five!" he said smiling. But the smile didn't last long, Slender lifted me up again, but this time, he lifted the knife from the ground in his hand, and up to my neck, fear filled my body along with pain. Matt prepared to swing and the knife touched my neck, then Matt lowered the axe and the knife backed away. Matt stared at me, then the knife, then his axe, tears formed in his eyes, "I-..I'm sorry. I can't." he dropped the axe to the ground and the knife fell from Slender's hand. He grabbed my arms and turned my right-side up, but didn't let go. "Put her down, please." Mat begged, I looked at Matt, tears flowing down his face. I strained my throat again, "Go...now." I squeaked, Matt shook his head like crazy, "No! I'm not leaving you again!" he cried, tears fell down my face as I forced my voice to work again. "Go...just...don't die." Matt was crying, "B-...but. What about you?" I looked up at Slender, then back at him, "Only...one...is gonna...live. And...it's...not me." Matt cried even more, "No! You're making it out of here, we're getting out of this together or none of us are! I'd rather both of us walk out of here than one!" I smiled at him. "And...I'd rather...one...than neither..." I kicked Slender's legs, "How many?!...How many?!" I cried, Slender grabbed my legs to stop me from kicking, then looked at Matt, then me, he held up three fingers. I smiled, "Matt...three...more!" Matt frowned, "Then you need to come with me!" I sighed, "No...you go...NOW!" Matt looked at Slender, then me. He let out a long sigh, "Ok." he said crying, then he ran away from here. I looked at Slender, Slender looked back at me, he dropped me to the floor, then I heard the knife being picked up. I rolled myself so I could look at him, he hovered the knife over me, deciding what part of me to stab first. He suddenly put the knife through my right knee, pain shot through my body, then he put the knife through my left knee, I cried. He ripped off my shirt and carved something into my chest, I was in too much pain to see what it was. I looked up at Slender, he pressed his hand against my chest, blood squeezed out. My vision went blurry, "S-...stop..." my eyes closed as I heard a hoarse whisper in my ear. "No One Leaves Alive."
