From MILES to INCHES...

ch-16 continued...

It was 6 pm..sun was about to set..radhika was enjoying the silent waves.suddenly shruti's phone vibrated,it was a message from someone.smile came on her lips.she got the instructions and now she had to execute the plan.
She moved towards radhika...Rads..I forgot,I had to shop some beads for the bride for my next marriage event.you wait I am just coming..she said and went to the nearby shop.but shruti didn't know that some other thing is waiting for radhika.
after shruti left,
Radhika took sandals in her hand and move toward sea,she stands between the waves.she was enjoying playing with waves.
She was soo busy in playing that she didn't heard shruti's voice who was alerting her from something..she turned to see shruti..but what she saw was enough to make her terrified.people were screaming..men,women,and children were running here and there and within few minutes the scene became horrible..before she could understand anything the mob took her in its own merge.
When she opened her eyes she found herself in her room lying on her bed.she felt cramp in her leg..
She was still unconscious..but now trying to gain her senses.
She tried to sit on bed..when her eyes went on mayank ..who was sitting on the bedside chair in half sleep.
At the same time Mrs.Mehra along with shruti and Nani entered in the room holding tea tray in her hand.
How are you feeling beta..Nani asked radhika kissing her forehead.
I m fine Nani..feeling good.she said in low tune.
Hearing the noises mayank awake from his sleep.Mrs Mehra gave him the tea.
Mayank was looking very tired and sleepy.
Radhika was still in puzzle about mayank.
Nani sensed her eagerness.she said holding her hands.."beta he is the one who saved you from there.stampede happened there.many people get injured.thanked to him dat he was there."
Radhika saw at mayank.who was looking at her only.
She said thanks to him for what he did.her voice was filled with gratitude.
It was my duty..soo no thanks for that.he replied politely.
Aunty now I am going..its too late.he said turning towards Mrs Mehra.
Thank you once again beta for all you did.Mrs Mehra said having tears in her eyes.
Beta v kehti hain aur thanks v kehti hain..mayank replied wiping her tears.he said good bye to radhika and
touched elders feet before leaving the room.
Nani,where is bozo and dad..she enquired as she didn't see both of them.
Beta they are at mahira's house(radhika cousin).as your bade taujee had to discuss something to him.I informed him,he is on his way only. Mrs Mehra replied.
Radhika you want to eat something..Nani asked.
No Nani..I only want to sleep she said.
Okk..sleep then..hum kal subah baat krte h..saying this Mrs Mehra and Nani left the room.
Shruti was still sitting beside her.as Mrs.Mehra and Nani left the room radhika asked shruti about what had happened.
Shruti explained her all things that how mayank saved her from the mob,how he waited here till she gain conscious.how he became panicked seeing you unconscious at the beach.
And....saying this she stopped..
And..what..say naa..shruti asked in anxiety.
And ki kaise wo tmhe god m utha Ker ghar laya tha..she said teasing her.
What...god m..are u serious..
??radhika eyes were widened in surprise and her cheeks became red hearing this.
Ok ok no more question..now you take rest..I m coming in few minutes.shruti said leaving the room.
Radhika slept on the bed.she tried to recall about the accident,but all she remembered was...a hand pulling her toward itself..someone's embraces and two black eyes gazing at him..as she became unconscious after that.
Soo that was mayank..it was his hand..I was in his embraces....her cheeks again turned crimson red.....thinking all these she very soon went into deep sleep.
On the same night

Mr.Mehra I am feeling soo bad about what has happened.Mr.mittal said when he came Mehra's house knowing radhika well being.
It was all our's fault neither we made the plans nor this mishapping happened.Mr.mittal said in grief.Mrs Mehra started crying.
Why are you all behaving like this..radhika is fine now..and who saved her ???you forgot...mayank..Nani said this time.
Beta jo hota hai aache ke lia hota hai..didnt you guys see ki destiny bhi unhe milwana chahti hai..nhi to kyun mayank hi use bachata..wahan to aur bhi log the.
She continued....don't worry destiny has given its sign.jo hum nhi Ker paye unki kismat karegi.

Nani was smiling,Sayad unhe pta tha ki aage bahut Aacha hone wala hai.
She saw concern and pain in mayank's eyes and that was enough to assure her.
She knew....."Destiny has started writing their story".
