The Rotten life of the Mysterious Boy

"So this is what a school looks like in this planet," I said to myself.

He walked straight to a room and when he opened the door, a splash of water surprised him and all the students laughed at him. He was pissed off that he ran to the comfort room. I could hear him sobbing so I tried to knock on the door but he didn't open it so I proceeded to plan B.

"If you're going to stay there until your class is finished, then, you lose and you will make them think that you're a weakling."

After saying those words, suddenly the door opened, but he didn't come out so, I decided to enter instead.

A certain silence dominated the restroom. I didn't know what to say; I just sat there looking at his devastated face.

"Now, you know why I can't help you. My life sucks and happiness is not included in my vocabulary. I don't believe in happiness because I haven't felt it yet," he said with a sigh.

I didn't know what to say. All this time, I thought our problem in Gioia was the worst case, but I just found a boy who hasn't even experienced being happy.

"But why are you always smiling as if everything is okay?" I asked him.

"That's my own way to hide all of the sadness that I feel. I'm sorry if I can't help you," he replied.

"I think we can work together to find happiness. What do you think?"

"But how?"

"I don't know yet, but we will soon find out. For now, you must go back to your class."

He went back to his class but the teacher was already there.

"Why are you late again Mr. Santiago, and why are you soaking wet?"

"I'm sorry Ma'am I just..."

"Stay at the back and squat. I will tell you when you can sit," she harshly interrupted.

This boy had a rotten life. I felt a little pinch in my heart.

Soon, the bell rang and the students rushed outside. Some students had someone to pick them up while the others took the bus. As for this boy, he had to walk back home.
