Chapter 3 - Rhanek

Ashantay and I have been friends since we were 16. That's definetly my A1 day one. I know I did her wrong when I cut her off because of my baby daddy, Johny, but I wish she would try to understand. When you think you love someone you'll do anything for them. I've realized that what I thought was love really wasn't. Someone who loves you won't treat you like that. The only good thing that came out of it was my beautiful daughter, Hope. I spent years giving my all to the wrong person and now I just want to give it to the right one and that's Ashantay. After all my lonely nights crying and thinking about my life. I realized she's been the one person I could rely on. She doesn't know I have feelings for her because she barely takes my calls and when she does she always hurries off the phone. All I know is I got to make things right between us.

Ugh, let me call this girl. Fearing what Tay might say, she dialed her number anyway.

"Hello." Tay answered as if she was almost breathless.

"Tay what's up?"

"Who is this?"

"Rhanek girl, what are you doing?"

Rolling her eyes on the other end of the phone, "I'm chilling. What can I do for you?"

"Damn, so you doing me like that now? Tay please here me out. How many times do I have to apologize? Just meet up with me so we can talk in person."

"Huuuhhhhh, look I don't want to hear this shit today. I really don't so go about your business. I'm trying to be nice." Tay said.

"Aha! You're trying to be nice? Bitch where?! You're being nothing but rude. You won't even give me a chance to explain or redeem myself. I know I treated our friendship like it was nothing. Trust me I regret it to the fullest but I care about you more than you know. Please... just hear me out."

"Well you and I both know when you do me dirty once there's no second chances. You enjoy the rest of your day." Tay said then disconnected the call.

The anger and hurt building up Rhanek couldn't help but let the tears fall freely. I can't believe she's going to do me like this. Got me beggin' for fucking friendship. Little do she know I love her and I just want to show her that but she's making it so fucking hard. I just need her to forgive me. We're better than this and I can't go without telling her how I really feel. I done playing nice with her ass. She like these crazy bitches who put her in her place. That's cool, she's going to talk to me. She has no choice.

Grabbing her phone heading straight to her car Rhanek drives to Tay's apartment.

"Tay open the fucking door." She hollered while banging on the door wildly.

Snatching the door open, "What the fuck do you want? Have you lost your marbles banging on my door like that?" Tay said looking at Rhanek like she was crazy. Rhanek pushing past Tay into her apartment like it was her own. Still yelling Rhanek says, "NO you got me fucked up. All the times I've called and apologized to your funky ass but you're trying to play me like a basic ass weak bitch. You know damn well you got the RIGHT one. I see now you ain't shit."

Closing in on Rhanek, Tay says, "if I'm not shit leave my not shit ass alone. Did you come all the way here to tell me I'm not shit? Ain't nobody tell your crazy ass to fuck with me. So if you don't like how I'm dealing with you then move the fuck around. Simple as that. You didn't give a fuck about me when you cut me off for that bum ass nigga so don't bother giving a fuck now. The fuck?"

Letting her anger get the best of her Rhanek loses all control and muffs Tay in the face.

"BITCH! Tay bellows. Charging Rhanek and throwing a left hook hitting Rhanek right in her jaw knocking her to the floor. Looking down on Rhanek ready to throw the right but before she could Jessi, after hearing yelling then a thud, runs out of the bedroom with a quickness in only a t-shirt that barely covered her thick thighs.

"Tay stop!" Jessi said putting all her strength into grabbing Tay from behind. Tay standing at about 5'9 towered over Jessi's five foot two inch frame. So trying to hold Tay back from getting to Rhanek was a difficult task.

Confused and a little dazed by the unexpected hit to the face Rhanek pulls herself off the floor. "Tay you're a bitch for hitting me like that. All I wanted to do was talk to you and tell you that I love you more than just a friend!" Rhanek yells with tears and hurt all over her face.

Looking at Jessi's half naked body up against Tay's while trying to hold her back ripped a piece of her heart out. "But I see why you haven't even given me the time of day." Rhanek said walking to the door to leave.

Tay's eyes followed Rhanek as she walked to the door. Tay looking crazed and confused by all the events that just happened she just stared at Rhanek in disbelief of what she said.
