Chapter 6

Jessi

Jessi walked into her dad's office without even thinking to knock because of all the thoughts clouding her mind. Seeing that her dad and SheAndre jumped apart surprised by her presence. 

"Sorry dad I didn't know you had someone in here, I'll come back."  Jessi said looking back and forth between both men. She couldn't help but wonder why her dad had such a guilty look on his face. 

"Umm..." James began trying to clear his throat. "No baby you're fine we were, uh, just finishing up with our prayer." He said looking toward SheAndre so that he would take the hint and dismiss himself. "Oh, sorry that is rude of me. SheAndre, uh, this is my daughter Jessi. Jessi this is SheAndre he attends service here occasionally."

"Yeah, I know her she talks to my cousin. I saw what happened tonight with you and ol' girl. Are you okay?" SheAndre asked Jessi with a slight smirk on his face. 

"Yeah, I'm great. Thanks for the concern." Jessi replied dryly. 

"Well, that's good. I have to get going thanks Pastor for the, uhhh, prayer. Nice seeing you again Jessi. You two have a good night." SheAndre said as he left out of the office. 

Again, the thought of her dad's guilty face jumped into her mind and she couldn't help but wonder what the real deal was between those two. 

Ashantay 

Laying across her bed trying to relax after the crazy night she had last night. She hears, "and that's my bestie, my bestie, my best friend, go best friend" playing loudly through her cell phone's speaker.

"What's up?" Tay says already knowing it's her cousin SheAndre.

"Bitch, guess what?!" SheAndre said.

"You always so dramatic. Haha. What man?"

"Well you remember the preacher man I told you about?"

"Yeah, the one you messing with? And the one that's gone send you straight to hell?" 

"Petty ass and yes him! Girl you not gone believe this!" SheAndre said.

"I'm listening." Tay responded irritated with how long he was taking to get to the point. 

"Girl, that's Jessi's dad! Her motherfuckin' preacher father is on the down low bitch!"

Bursting with laughter "You have got to be fucking kidding me!" Tay said. 

"No bitch I kid you not. I was in his office lastnight and she just happen to stop by too and I even talked to her ass. He introduced us and everything. That's his motherfuckin' daughter. I left that bitch weak as fuck!" SheAndre said barely able to contain his laughter. 

"Does Jessi know or suspect y'all?" Tay asked.

"Girl, no she doesn't know. If she suspects us, I have no idea. She was looking at her dad all weird though. So who knows girl." SheAndre responded.

" I'ma hit her up after little shorty leaves my place. So i'll talk to you later."

"Hold up, who is this little shorty?" SheAndre asked with curiosity in his voice.

"Just this little thing I met at the store not to long ago. She been texting me and asked to come over so I let her."

"You a hoe. Haha. What about Rhanek?" SheAndre asked.

"What about her? I mean that's still my baby. Shit she coming over later on when she get off work."

"Girl, bye. I can't with you. Save some females for the other lesbians out there, thot ass!" SheAndre said bursting with laughter.

"Fuck you, man. Bye." Tay responded with laughter.
