I felt the train going faster, and faster every time, and then slowed down after a couple of minutes till we arrived. The train door was opened and we were pushed out of the train harshly being yelled at.When I finally got off the train I saw a very ugly dirty place, nothing of what I imagined.I tried to avoid getting close to the soldiers, but they ended up yelling at me for "not acting quickly".I payed more attention to what the sign said at the entrance it said "Auschwitz".
They sent all of the ones who were the oldest to a group on the right being sent to a different location, except for me.I realized that all the kids around me were younger than me by around six years of age.The second oldest was seven years of age. There I was, standing not wanting to be the one responsible for the children. One of the soldiers took us into this small room which was empty it had bunk beds which were all broken with hard mattresses.I chose one of the beds in the top so the small kids got the bottom ones, and put a small tiny bag which had a comb and a little box of juice, which I gave to Jona.I sat on the bed waiting for something to happen.
"Where's the restroom?", asked a small four year old.
"I do not know, you have to go?, I asked.
"Yeah.", the small boy answered.
Around the back of the room there was a door which was a small tiny room with a toilet all dirty.
"Umm, there's a restroom here.", I said.
"Thank you", answered the small boy who was named David.
I was afraid this would happen.I am the oldest here, and these kids seem to not have a clue on all that is going on.They need their parents for them to feel protected.I know that there is something strange going on around us, cause all I see are lies flowing out of their mouth.
