~ Autumn ~
I plastered a fake smile for the whole wedding wishing it would be over already,
"I do." Lucas said.
"I now announce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," Summer and Lucas kissed. I couldn't take it. Everyone stood up to look at them as they walked out, I stood up and ran out the other door and I ran up the stairs to the roof. I sat on the edge of the building with my feet dangling over the bottom, Summer always had the better life, she got adopted, she has great husband and kids. I looked over the edge. One drop and this pain would be over, the baby inside of me wouldn't have to put up with a crap mum and no dad. I began to shuffle to the edge.
"Stop!!!" I turned around to see James.
"What do you want?!" I snapped. James looked taken aback,
"I'm sorry about earlier, please, lets get married, lets have a family!" James said.
"You should of bloody well thought of that this morning!!!" I screamed, Zoe and Alfie came running onto the roof.
"YOU WERE THE ONE WHO GOT ME IN THIS MESS! DOING IT WHEN I WAS DRUNK!" I screamed. Zoe and Alfie just guiltily stared at me. James looked like he was getting angry. Ollie said that he had anger issues.
"YOU WERE THE ONE WHO GOT DRUNK, AUTUMN!" James shouted.
"Well maybe if you weren't such a stuck up dickhead you might actually have a heart in there somewhere!!!!" I screamed at him.
He marched over to me and punched my face, then when I was on the ground he kicked my head and body. He kicked me 10 times before Zoe and Alfie could stop him. I felt blood trickling down my face and my nose was throbbing badly. Zoe knelt over me and all I could hear was punching, Lucas and Summer ran onto the roof and Lucas began punching James along with Alfie. Summer called an ambulance.
"Sorry, Summer for ruining your wedding!" I mumbled.
"Autumn!! It wasn't your fault your mad ex beat you up!" She said stroking my hair. Blood was going onto her dress but she was ignoring it. The ambulance and police came onto the roof, the ambulance put me on a stretcher and the police handcuffed him. I shut my eyes and went unconscious.
I woke up in a hospital room with all sorts of weird tubes running in me. I had a horrible oxygen mask over my face and all of my right side was in plaster from where he kicked me. I had a neck brace on and a weird thing on my nose. I sat up slightly with my back leaning against the bed rest. I was on my own. I rubbed my stomach wandering if the babies were going to be ok. A nurse then came in with a clipboard.
"Hello honey," She spoke softly and smiled. "I'm afraid we have some bad news."
"Ok, what is it." I said worriedly.
"You were pregnant with twins and the twin on your right side didn't make it because of the kicking," She said. I started crying again.
"Is the other one ok?" I asked.
"For now yes, James is in prison for life for murder and abuse. Would you like to see your sister or parents?" She asked.
"Summer, yes," She went out and immediately Summer rushed in and hugged me.
"Summer I'm so sorry, I ruined your wedding!" I cried.
"Autumn! You didn't ruin my wedding, it was the best of my life even though you got beaten up!" Summer said hugging me.
"Ok, I am not having another boyfriend, not after Lucas and now James. I loved them both with all my heart!" I cried.
"Don't cry over James Autumn!" Summer joked sadly.
"Summer, I lost one of the babies," Summer's eyes cloud over and tears start leaking out her eyes.
"I'm so sorry, Autumn." Summer said.
"It's okay, I still have one baby in here, a fighter!" I said.
"Oh thank god!" Summer said. "I wish you could get out of here!"
"So do I but I don't know where I'm going to go." I said a tear leaked out of my eye. I imagined myself in a house on my own with just a baby.
"Okay, Autumn Deyes, you can leave hospital now, you're going to have to be in a wheelchair because your pregnant and have a broken leg. I put a leather jacket on shoulders got into the wheelchair. I had a broken leg and some broken ribs, and I was pregnant. Zoe and Alfie were outside the room. Emilia was there too,
"EMILIA!" I shouted and she grinned and hugged me,
"So glad your okay, Autumn!" Emilia said in the hug. Zoe and Alfie were smiling too. Emilia went behind me and pushed me to Zoe's car.
"I came as soon as I heard about you Autumn," Emilia said. Emilia took one of my arms and Zoe took the other one. They got me in the car and Zoe and Alfie got in the front. Emilia got in the back with me.
"Autumn, I was wandering if you wanted to move into a flat with me?" Emilia asked.
I smiled, someone who wasn't family cared about me.
"Yes! It will be so much fun!!" I giggled which caused Emilia, Zoe and Alfie to laugh too. Apparently my laugh is contagions.
It turns out that Zoe and Alfie had already dropped my stuff off there, Emilia helps me unpack because I can't bend down now and I am very careful now because I don't want to loose my baby.
