*Aria's P.O.V.*

I was leaning against the wall waiting for Minnie and the first years, while I waited for them, the other students were giving me strange looks.

When Minnie comes back with the scared first years, I smile at them and tell them "Don't worry, there's no monster on the other side, just the teachers and the other students." they all calm down and smile up at me, when a little girl walks up to me and says smiling "I'm Katherine Malfoy, you're really nice you know that?" I smile back at her and say "Well Katherine it's a pleasure to meet you. And thank you are very nice too." "Come on children we have to go." Minnie says pulling me to her "Good job calming them down, I thought they were going to pass out." I smile and nod.

She opens the doors and mentions us to follow her, I know that I should be used to seeing the sight of the Great Hall I always become amazed. "Dear students before we start the sorting I would like you all to help me welcome Miss Ariana Granger, she just transferred here from Durmstrang. She will be sorted last though." Dumbledore says and all the guys groan.

After everyone gets sorted leaving only Katherine and, "Malfoy, Katherine." Minnie calls, Kat looks at me scared and I nod with an encouraging smile, she takes a deep breath and walks up to the stool, we wait a few minutes before the hat shouted out "Gryfffindor." I hear the Slytherin table gasp but I walked up to her and spined her smiling, she giggled but still looked scared, I set her down and told her "Go sit down Kat, I'll be there in a few moments." she smiled and ran of to the table, but everyone sat away from her as if she was a plague, I glared at them but still heard Minnie call me "Granger, Ariana." I let my eyes trail down the table until they meet a pair of grey eyes that remind me of Harry's godfather Sirius Black, Sirius Orion Black the third my pen pal for the last two years. Holly cricket, I fell in love with him through the letters and now seeing him personally makes my heart leap.

I turn around and sit on the stool, Minnie places the hat on my head and he says 'Aria, I already sorted you in the future, I also know that I made the right decision so I only have one thing to say and it is GRYFFINDOR' he shouts the name of the house making me jump from the stool and walk up to Kat and grab her hand, I then take a seat next to him and a ginger. "Let the feast begin." Dumbledore says and the food appears, Kat looks so amazed that it made me laugh, "I'm Lily Evans." the ginger next to Kat says, making me open my eyes wide and say "Aria Granger, but you already knew that." she smiles and adds "It's nice what you did for Katherine, not many people would do that." I smile and place an arm over Kat and hug her.

"Hi I'm James Potter." A guy who looks like Harry but has the same eye color as me says. "And I'm Sirius Black." a boy says from the seat next to me, "Pleasure to meet you." I say and smile at them, but when I look at Sirius my cheeks start flaming just then Remus, well the younger Remus, introduces "I'm Remus Lupin and this is Peter Pettigrew." At the name I snap my neck to him and give him my famous 'OH-you're-in-trouble' look and he gulps quite loudly before continue to eat.

As the First Years are leaving Kat get's up and walks with them but a boy who looks like her and a gang also walk out, I look at her worriedly but she just waves with a small smile. I then hear a loud 'SMACK' and growl like my wolf would, so anyone who wasn't startled by the 'SMACK' was definitely startled by my growl, I get up with a murderous look on my face and walk out of the Hall, I see a tear stained face Kat holding one of a cheek, I growl yet again and take off towards them just as the blonde boy raises his hand again, I push Kat behind me and he ends up hitting me.

"Did you just slap me?" I ask him in a deadly calm voice, I see his eyes widen with fear as does the people from his gang, "Didn't your mother tell you not to hit women? If I ever see Katherine like this again, Godric help me because your life will be turned into hell. I don't care if your her brother, cousin or anything Katherine was sorted into Gryffindor for a reason so run along and don't mess with me." I tell him with the same tone. He simply nods and runs off, I breath deeply and turned to Kat. I picked her up and calmed her down.

"Miss Granger with me please and bring Miss Malfoy." Minnie calls, we follow her into her office. "Miss Malfoy you probably will receive an howler tomorrow, most probably telling you that you are no longer a member of the Malfoy Family, if that is the case Miss Granger would you take her in?" She says and I nod "Of course she can stay with me. Where am I staying?" I ask "Here at Hogwarts but no one can know, But this is just until you graduate then when you buy a house both of you can live there and maybe someone special to you Miss Granger." She explains but smirks in the end, I blush and say "Only if we date. which I don't think he wants to. But anyways, Kat you're brother maybe already be or will become a death eater, trust me I know he does, but I can assure you that you won't become one." she smiles brightly and hugs me tight "Thanks, you're the sister I never had. By the way can I call you sis?" she asks and I nod, she squeal and jumps onto my lap.

Minnie released us and because it was after bedtime, she cries "We're going to be punished." "No we won't we are talking to Minnie, only I can call her that, but you'll be able to soon." I lead her towards the portrait and whisper "Felicity, can you please let us in, we were talking to Professor McGonagall." She looks at Kat and I quickly add "She's a Gryffindor." she then looks at me and her eyes open with excitement "Of course, my dear Aria Potter." and open the portrait, "Why did she call you Potter?" Kat asks "Well that's a story for the summer Kitty Kat, now of to bed come on, you're staying with me." I tell her and walk her to our dorm.
