After school ends, I walk out of the school, and towards the bus stop. The boy that had pushed me in the hall looks at me nervously. I stay quiet. I take a closer look at him.
Dark grey eyes... Jet black hair... Like me, well, if he had green eyes. He reminds me of... Captain Hook from Fairy Tales and Folklore. I laugh silently to myself. I take out my book and walk on the bus, and the boy follows.
"Hey nerder!" Kristi says. "Who's been a bad girl? You!"
I sigh and roll my eyes. She comes up to me and slaps me in front of the boy. Kristi, Jordyn, and Izzy (if your name is either of those names change it), then drag me to the back of the bus. I fight back. I give up when they call Brady over. He punches me square in the face.
The bus stops, and I take off towards the front. The boy that had pushed me in the hall follows.
After we walk for a bit, he speaks up. "Hey... I saw everything that had happened to you..."
"Yeah," I say. "Everyone does. They laugh at my misery..."
"Did you see me laughing?" he says. I shake my head. "Exactly."
"Alright, what's your name?" I ask.
"Jaime," he says. "You?"
"...Gwen," I reply.
"Do you have any friends?" Jaime asks. I shake my head.
"Ah, then I'm your friend!" Jaime exclaims. "I'm sorry I pushed you in the hall..."
"It's alright," I say.
Soon, we reach my house. I wave goodbye and walk towards my door. Turns out he lives across from me.
I guess I made a friend.
