|00.| Plan

The young man sat in the corner of the Leaky Cauldron with annoyance written all over his face. His drink sat in front of him entirely untouched. He didn't have time for a drink — no, he was too occupied trying to overcome the hate that everyone seemed to have pushed away. How could they continue to pretend like the war never happened? Like the pain still didn't hurt? The light-haired boy couldn't forget. His grey eyes held too much pain to just forget and push everything away.

He rested his chin between his index finger and thumb, pondering over ways to finally show the wizarding world that the war wasn't really over. The war was never really over. In his heart the battle still raged, the pain still broke out across his chest, and he wouldn't push it away. The pain seemed to be the only thing the boy had left, for everything and everyone else seemed to have left him. Even his mother seemed to have given up on trying to piece together the young Slytherin boy she used to love and cherish. He wasn't that boy anymore. He was dark. A dark wizard with haunting thoughts. Everyone always expected so much of him, and he never was able to make his own choices. But — but now he could.

A sly grin crept over his lips as he realized one thing. They expected great things from the young wizard, and great things they were going to see him accomplish.

The Daily Prophet had yet another heading with Harry Potter's name on it. Draco grumbled under his breath before tossing the paper across the table's surface. Saint Potter was everywhere, still famous, still loved. The thought of people still holding Potter up highly turned Malfoy's thoughts dark. Darker than even usual.

The war destroyed many families and lives, including Draco's. Everyone was able to move on, start fresh, and forgive — except for him. He was a Death Eater, he once served the Dark Lord, and he was not meant to sit around and read articles about Saint Potter in his free time. This wasn't what his life was for. . .he was better than this. He was a powerful wizard, a wizard with dark magic running through his fingertips. He had the power to do anything. He had the power to destroy Potter.

Harry Potter was the chosen one, he was powerful, he survived the death curse, he survived Voldemort, but Draco knew if he used skill and all his might — Harry could not survive Draco. Draco knew to attack from the heart, for Harry had a large heart. Ginny was only Harry's girlfriend, and despite knowing that Harry loved her she wasn't enough. No, Draco needed to strike the Golden Trio. That would bring Harry Potter crumbling down.

Ron wasn't worth Draco's time, so that left him with Hermione Granger. She was a bright witch, and if you asked Draco — she was also bloody annoying. She always knew how to do everything, knew every spell, and had a certain type of curly hair that Draco didn't like to look at. He detested Hermione, and he knew she was the one he needed to destroy to get to Harry's heart without causing another war. Yes, he would kill Granger.

The thought of ending her life caused a mischievous smile to appear on his lips as he picked up the paper once more and read the article about Potter, despite not actually wanting to.

well lovelies, here's a dramione fic! I'm so excited for this, it's not even funny!
so this takes place after the war, and everyone is still trying to fix themselves after what happened. I hope you all enjoy! Draco is a revengeful Death Eater in this book, and just to let you guys know, this probably won't be the happiest story :/ these characters are really going to go through a lot, but I hope you'll stick by and see how it all plays out :)
