ALFORD's POV

Its morning again. I've never been excited in waking up every morning. Who is anyways? Unlike most of the people here; who wakes up for something or someone. Me? I wake up so that I could earn a living. Despite the fact that I'm alone now, I dont have anybody that I could count on.

Getting up, rubbing my eyes and yawned for he last time. I put my hands together and began to stretch them up. My bed felt cold. I need someone to spend some warm nights with ;) Ha! I'm just kidding though. I really have no time for that. And besides, nobody wouldnt like me. I'm not that same young hottie back then. I had my eyebags and some dark circles. Thhough I'm pretty fit, I don't really think I'm attractive enough to find a decent girl I could be proud of.

It was then when I realized it was Sunday. Ha! That means no work for today.

So I just made breakfast and decided to go for a little jog after that.

I checked out whats in my kitchen.

"Noodles" I said to myself with a disappointing expression

Noodles was like my everyday dish. Ugh

I had no choice anyways. Atleast I can eat.

After breakfast I took a bath and got dressed.

"Oh shit!" I shouted as I turned on the shower. "Man, the water is cold"

I guess I have no choice but to bear with this.

So after I got dressed, I headed outside and started to jog.

I passed by a cafe and thought of having some coffe first since I haven't had one this morning.

I got in and I just love how that little bell rings when the cafe door opens. I just smiled smelling the wonderful scent in that shop.

"What can I do for you sir?" a lady said to me once I had my seat. She looked a little bit young. About 18-20 years old. Hey! I'm 17 already, another year and I'd be legal as fuck

"Smile" I said smirking

She blushed as expected, I'm so good at this "Excuse me sir?"

"All you can do for me is smile. It makes you look more beautiful" I answered back

She just giggled and looked at me "I'll have some coffee please" I said

"Is that all sir?"

"Yes."

"Okay then, Coming!"

After a few minutes, she headed back to me with my coffee.

"How much?" I asked her

"Youre welcome" she winked at me

"Oh, I should pay" I said

"I said youre welcome" She insisted

"Okay, thanks miss" I said smiling. Man, look at what my charms can do

"See you around" she said slipping a tiny piece of paper in my pocket.

Just as I expected.

Her phone number.

I'm not interested anyways. If only she knew.

I was on my way out of the Cafe when I bumped someone!

"Ouch!" she said as she fell on the floor

"Are you okay?" I asked her while offering my hand

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry it was my fault"

"No, It was my fault. I wasnt looking to where I was going" I answered her
