It had been a late night at the Achievement Hunter office. Michael was editing rage quit while Gavin was staying late with him, stacking up Lets Plays. Gavin had just finished editing another Minecraft Lets Play and was now extremely bored. He had been told by Michael, twice, to stop making dick waves because it was too annoying, he had also rearranged everything on his own desk, and doodled on some stuff. His drawings didn’t turn out very well, but at least it kept him entertained. He continued to doodle for a little while longer. A few minutes later, Michael took off his headphones, setting them down in front of him on his desk, then stretched in his chair and grunted.
“Holy fuck Gav, it’s been a long night, hey?” He said, turning to Gavin. Gavin was still off in his own world, doodling away. Michael got up and walked over to go see what Gavin had been drawing. He walked in front of the couch then peered down onto Gavin’s lap to get a look at what he had drawn on the sticky notes.
“Whatcha drawin’?” Michael asked. Gavin scrambled to flip over the pad of doodles and hide it.
“Nothing! I’m not drawing anything!” Gavin said as he started to blush.
“Why are you blushing then? Just give me it.” Michael said, attempting to grab the paper out of his friend’s hand. He finally got a hold of the book and was shocked to see what was Gavin had drawn. There were little doodles of what looked to be two boys cuddling and kissing. One of the boys had fluffy, short, messy hair and the other had medium length curly hair and was wearing glasses.
“Gavin, is this…us?” Michael asked in confusion. He was quite unsure what to think of the drawings.
“Err, how do I say this…” Gavin replied. There was a long silence, the two boys staring at each other the whole time. Gavin finally just put his head down into his hands and started to cry.
“I’m so sorry Michael. Ever since I started working here I’ve had a massive crush on you. I dream about you every night that maybe sometime we could get to cuddle or something. We always tease each other at the office and I always think it’s so cute when you do things like that to me. I’m sorry.” Michael sat down beside Gavin, looking at the tear soaked drawings of the two boys, and sighed. He put his arm around Gavin and gave him a hug, leaning on him and laying his head down on Gavin’s shoulders. “You know what,” Michael whispered into Gavin’s ear, “I love you too. I love everything about you. All the stupid things you do and say, your cute British accent, your goofy looking hair, how amazing you are with slow mo shit, everything.” Gavin pulled his head up from his hands and turned to Michael, tears still running down his cheeks, but also with the biggest grin on his face.
“Really?” he asked. Michael nodded then smiled. Gavin readjusted himself so he was lying down on the couch now, his legs in Michael’s lap. Michael followed through eventually so that they were spooning. He then stuck his arms out and wrapped them around Gavin’s waist. Gavin couldn’t believe this was happening, going from fantasizing about this day happening for months to it actually happening. He closed his eyes and exhaled. Michael was still hugging Gavin tightly around the waist. He adjusted his head and planted a kiss on the younger boy’s neck. Gavin flinched and started to giggle.
“Stop that Michael!” He said. Michael started to tickle Gavin all over. They were both laughing loudly now. After a few minutes of tickle fighting, Michael stopped tickling Gav and they both just lay on the couch. They both turned to each other, once again staring deeply into each other’s eyes, big grins on both of the boys’ faces.
“So do you want to-” Gavin started to say, but was immediately stopped by Michael’s lips planted onto his. He was shocked at first, but went along with it. Every now and then, what would sounded like either “Oh my god” or “holy shit” would slip out of either of the boys’ mouths. About 20 minutes passed and they were both getting very tired.
“Wow Michael, I never knew that making out could drain so much energy.” Gavin said as he pulled away from Michael.
“I know. Should we start to head home now? We can continue at home if you want.” Michael replied.
“Ok, can we watch a movie and cuddle on the couch for a bit?” Gavin asked.
“Sure. As long as you pick the movie and I pick top or bottom tonight.” Michael said, and then winked at Gav.
“Oooh, you’re a tough one. But it’s a deal.” Gavin said as he leaned onto Michael’s shoulder again. He gave his new boyfriend a kiss on the cheek before grabbing his bag and walking out of the Achievement Hunter office and out to Michael’s car.
“I love you Michael.” Gavin whispered in Michael’s ear as they walked out into the parking lot.
“I love you too Gavin.” Michael replied as he hugged Gavin tightly.
