Chapter Ten XAVIER

Xavier glanced over at Riya. She looked pissed but he didn't care, she's been acting weird all day. He wanted to talk to her but secretly he had no idea how, he was awful when talking to girls... He always put up a tough act to block that side of him out. After walking about a mile he and Riya found an old gas station. It looked a bit scary, as if he would say that out loud. There was an old woman who looked pretty creepy...

"WELCOME! HOW MAY I HELP YOU LOVELY PEOPLE TODAY?" Xavier cringed. She was so loud his ears would probably bleed any second. "Ah...hello... We were wondering if we could buy a few tanks of gas please. And do you sell...maybe camping supplies here?" The woman grinned and Xavier noticed she missed a few teeth. "My names Eur... uh, Elian! Yes call me Elian. And there is gas tanks behind those shelves over there, just take 'em and fill them outside. Each tank is about twenty dollars, or three drachmas!" Xavier tossed six drachmas on the table and swore he heard Elian hiss. She sounded like a snake... He shrugged and got the tanks taking them outside. He began filling them when only a few minutes later he heard a loud crash and looked back to see Riya caught in a claw grasp. He dropped the gasoline letting it splash against the ground and ran in seeing a gorgon. 'Of course' he thought, because that's just what he needed. "Xavier! It's really Medusas sister Euryale, cover your ears she's known for a killing scream!" Right as Riya said that, a loud piercing scream was heard and Xavier dropped to the ground clutching at his ears. He felt blood trickle down his neck and gritted his teeth standing up. He pulled a blood dart gun from his back side. A gun like weapon from his father that shot solid gold bullets. He lifted his arm pointing the gun at Euryale. His eyes were dark red filled with blood lust. He pulled the trigger once and grinned as it shot through her head and she disintegrated into dust. She grinned wider and started shooting at gas tanks around them. This was his problem...when he got into the killing, he went on a killing spree. He turned and aimed the gun at Riya. She didn't even flinch. She waited for a moment as Xavier frowned and lowered the weapon. He sighed and walked over hugging her close. "I'm sorry... it happened again." She nodded and rubbed his back. "I know, I know. But you're getting more control over it. That's good." He leaned back and smiled at her... Only for her to whack him on the head and walk out.
