Her Family (The Siblings)

I woke up to the sound of May showering, I look at the clock, 8:27 A.M., great i was supposed to be at work 30 minutes ago. As I decide to check my phone expecting to have received about 1000 messages from my co-workers and  my boss, but I found no notifications what-so-ever. I check the date. Saturday, February 17th 2018.

"It's Saturday, I don't work on Saturdays" I close my eyes and fall back asleep.

"Baby wake up" May said as she kissed my cheek. "It's 9 A.M., get ready I'll be in the kitchen making breakfast"

I got up, and went to the shower, I undressed myself and I looked into the mirror, I let out a little laugh.

(How could I forget it's Saturday? Some Executive Manager I am, oh well i best enjoy the weekend then)

I got into the shower, and when I got out i smelled the smell of Pancakes. It was pleasant smell, also my favorite breakfast. I put on some clothes and as I walked out of the bedroom I was greeted by Jack, May's 3 Year old little brother. Although he felt more like a son to me than a brother-in-law, probably because I've been there for him ever since the day of his birth.

"Play?" He said handing me a soccer ball. I was never really good at soccer, but for me it was whatever Jack wanted, I'd do for him.

"We'll play after breakfast, okay Jack?" I replied.

"Okay, food then play, food the play with daddy" he shouted repeatedly running to the kitchen with a huge smile on his face. Ever since Christmas a couple of months ago he's been calling me 'Daddy'. Even now I'm not used to it, I'm not your dad, but I guess I'm the closest to a father he has, other than his grandfather. His dad is in prison as a result of a dispute in which he hit May's biological mother, Maya. I'm glad he's locked up.

"Ray." A voice called out in the down the hall.
I turned around. "Hello brother in law whom I loved so much"

"Hey Violet, what's up?" I replied.

"Could you and May take me to the mall later on today? Please?" She said.

"Sure" I responded. She wasn't allowed to go anywhere by herself after school or on weekends after her and her boyfriend Jake were caught sneaking around when no one was home.

"Thank you" she said. Violet was never one to hold a conversation for too long, she always seems bored after the first 5 minutes. She's 17 years old and a senior at May and Mine's old high school. She resembles May a lot, especially in the way she dresses, and their hair colors are the same expect her hair tips are violet. Yep, she's May's twin alright despite having different dads, Unfortunately Violet's dad died when she was a only 7. Tragic drive by took the his life.

I walked into the kitchen to see Jack sitting in his special Mickey Mouse themed chair at the table and May standing over the stove, cooking Jack's pancake. I could tell that it was Jack's due to the fact that he always loved a Mickey Mouse shaped Pancake, Mickey Mouse is Jack's favorite cartoon character.

I walked up behind May and hugged her from behind and rested my hands on her stomach. she felt warm. Probably from cooking.

"Smells delicious beautiful" I said as I kissed her on the cheek.

"Where are your Parents, Maya and Vira?" as I sat down at the table.

"All 4 of them left to the store, they said they wanted to go shopping for the wedding already" she responded.

"Oh. Did they?" I asked.

"Yep, i tried to stop them saying 'Its too soon' but they wouldn't listen, I mean you just proposed to me 3 days ago on Valentines, the wedding isn't gonna be next week" she said. She approached the table to gave Jack his Mickey Mouse Pancake, then took a seat next to me.

I held her hand stroking the promise ring I got her on our first year anniversary, then stroking the engagement ring I gave her on Valentine Day, sure its cheesy to propose to someone on that day, but she always did say she wanted to be proposed to on a holiday.

"Don't worry about it Princess, you know your family is just getting excited because you're the first one to be married, and in church none the less." I said.

"Yeah i know" she responded as she leaned in for a kiss.

"Eww get a room, go make a baby, do something other than make me sick from seeing you two kiss all time!" said Violet as she walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table to eat.

May responded "Your just jealous because your boyfriend doesn't love you as much as Ray loves me"

(That's always attractive to me, whenever she sticks out her tongue in an argument to mock Violet.)

"Bitch Shut your mouth before I shut it for you" Threatened Violet. As she ferociously stood up to assert dominance, while May followed with the same movement.

"Make me mini-me!" May Shouted.

"Yay Mommy, Violet Go fight" Jack Playfully Inserted.

"Okay both of you sit down now and eat your food" I interrupted. They both sat down giving each other death stares until they began to eat, I started to help feed Jack his Pancakes.

*gulp* (Man, those two would of killed each other by now if I hadn't been here to stop their fights all the time, yep, Twins alright.)
