May.

Moving Foward

2 months went on, May seemed to have forgotten about all the hacking situation, even though it was a thing of this past now, I took security measures, after a week, I added cameras to the house, inside and out. I strategically placed some on the sides of the house, due to the fact that anyone could climb up and easily go through Violet's window. The only people that knew about these cameras were May's grandparents and I. Seeing as it is their property it's only best to explain the situation to them and ask them for permission. Of course they agreed anything for the safety of their granddaughter. 

About mid-march we heard a rustling out side, and checked the cameras to see what it was. we saw a dark figure in a hood trying to climb up into Violets window, I rushed outside and immediately tackled him off of the piping. 

"Ah, get off me, get off me" he yelled.

"who are you and why are you climbing through this window?!" I yelled back. 

The yelling woke up May's grandfather and he turned on the house lights on the side of the house. 

I saw the face of the person trying to sneak into the house. 

"Jake?!" I said as I got off of him. "What the hell are you doing trying to sneak into Violet's room?" 

"uhhh" he said as he tried running away. I grabbed him by the hood as he was trying to escape.

"Jake?!" Violet yelled from her room as she peered out the window. "Jake what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you Violet, I cant wait anymore, Babe I'm in love with you please don't make me wait to see you, i'm cleaning up for you, please" Jake said as his voice started to crack.

"Jake, Violet's grandfather does not want you anywhere near her, you need to leave now" I said. 

*Click Clack* 

"Get out of here you filthy good for nothing pot-head, or i'll blow your damn brains out for trespassing"  Violet's Grandfather. 

"Jim calm down" I said as i head May and Violet screaming in the backround. "he was leaving, get out of here Jake now"

Jake ran to the street. 

"And don't you ever come back!" Jim screamed.

Another month passed it was April 22nd May called me while I was working late.

"Hey babe what's up" I asked.

"Ray" she said in a frantic voice, "i...it...it's..Violet, Im freaking out, it's 5:10p.m. and she isn't home"

"May, what do you mean she's missing?" I asked.

"She didn't come home after school today and we don't know where she could be, we checked the school, the shopping center, the places to eat, we checked everywhere, Ray she's missing" she said as she started to sob.

"okay okay calm down, i'll get off work right now and i'll go find her" I said. "and May, wait for me to call you"

I hung up before she could say anything

I quickly gathered my things and ran outside to my car. I got into the car and started driving towards the high school. 

(Violet usually always comes home after school and checks in before she leaves with her friends, if she's gone missing then theres only one place she could be) 

I pulled up to Jake's house.

(Just like I thought, his parents weren't home, only Jake's car was in the drive way). 

I parked a couple houses down from Jakes house, I got my throwing knifes out from the back of the car. These were my favorite because they were two pronged with the handle laced in green. I started to put them on, a 2 holsters of 3 on my belt one to my left and one behind me. 1 in each shoe on the outside, and two on each hand with a specially made holster that I made for my wrist, I put on my harness for my go-pro and put my go pro on and turned it on. I my black zip up sweater on. I closed my trunk.

(Violet did mention that Jake has a gun that his parents don't know about, this could get messy if im not careful.) 

I walked up casually to the house, I sent May a message at the same time. 

"Call my friend Arny, and send him to this address in exactly 4 min, no sooner no later, tell him that I might be in trouble, don't reply to this message, do not come to this address, just wait for my phone call" 

I hit send

My friend Arny and I go back all the way to middle school he was a trouble maker who ended up being a Marine turned Police Officer. If any officer has my back, I want it to be him.

As i calmly walked up, I heard screaming from Jake's house.

"NO STOOOP JAKE!!!" 

The voice was familiar.

"VIOLET!" I screamed as I ran to the house and Jumped the chain link fence. 

"HELP!!!" I heard a crying scream as i got to the door.

"HANG IN THERE!" I yelled as I started ramming into the door with my shoulder. 

I broke in to see Violet on the floor with just her sweater on, no clothing, red marks on her face, and a face of horror as she stared down the man she "Loved" Pointing a gun at her. 

Jake's attention quickly shifted to me. And so did the gun's barrel. 

"oh you fucked up now you little whore" Jake said with a hysterical voice. 

"Jake put the gun down", I said to him calmly, "you don't want to do this"

"You don't know what i want" he responded.

"yes I do" I said, "jake, if you put the gun down, we can just let this go, we wont press any charges and we can forget this thing ever happened okay?"

"no your lying" he said, "your just gonna turn on me, why can't i ever get what i want? why can't i be happy?"

"And what do you want jake?" I asked calmly. 

"I want her, I want her so badly" he said as he motioned his gun to a paralyzed Violet on the floor. 

"Jake, calm down there are other ways to get what you want, and raping your girlfriend isn't one of them" I said, "Jake, don't you love her? She loves you" 

"No, no I don't love her, I never did, I just wanted someone that I could have wrapped around my finger, someone who I could just use to fuck, a toy nothing more" He said with a devilish grin.

My blood boiled inside as Violet began to cry, "I LOVED YOU!" she said while sobbing, "HOW COULD YOU JAKE?!? I LOVED YOU"

"BECAUSE YOU HELD OUT YOU NEVER GAVE IN TO SLEEPING WITH ME ALWAYS SO ANGELIC, ALWAYS AN ANGEL, SO I WAS SICK OF IT AND I TOOK MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS!!!" He yelled.

I wanted to take him out so badly, but i had to keep my cool under the pressure until the police arrived. I heard sirens in the background. 

"The police? WHO CALLED THE FUCKEN POLICE" he exclaimed as he pointed the gun at me.

I had no time to react I pulled my knife out of my wrist strap and threw it at him, it hit his hand knocking the gun out of it. 

"OWW" he yelled as I charged at him.

I speared his body into the wall, his back hit the back table and it broke in two as i pushed him into the wall with all my strength. He hit his head on the photo frame knocking him unconscious. I ran to Violet as I took off my sweater and threw it on her, she ran up and hugged my while sobbing. As i kicked the gun to the door the police walked in. 

"Police is everything alright in here?" Arny said as he walked in the house with his partner guns cocked and pointed out. 

Arny looked at me I nodded toward the unconscious Jake. Arny's partner went and put handcuffs on Jake as they put their guns away.

Arny called into his radio. "Dispatch we are gonna need back-up forensics and an ambulance at this address we have an unconscious male and an injured woman. 

"Ray are you all right?" he asked. 

Violet was still sobbing on me. "I think we are gonna be okay now friend" I responded.
