When Chris left me and Ricky alone together I swear the air left with him.
It's harder to breathe next to you Ricky. Especially when you tend to get real cuddly when you're tired. But who am I to refuse this? It's the only time I get to have you in my arms. Ghost is seriously fucked in the head if he willingly gave up this......this beautiful little raccoon. I may sound like a creep, but watching you sleep is a beautiful thing. You don't look troubled by all that's happened to you, and I swear I will never let anyone lay so much as a finger on you with abusive intentions.
Finally I just couldn't take it anymore and got real close to his ear and whispered,
"I love you Ricky."

Later that night I was in my bunk trying to sleep when I heard Ricky whimpering in his sleep. I got out of the bunk and went to his.
"Ricky hey wake up." I whisper yelled while shaking him. He wakes and for a second all I can see is the overwhelming fear in his eyes, but then it's replaced with lots of tears. I hugged him and he clung to me for dear life.
"It's okay. You're okay. I've got you. You're okay."
But is he really?
