"Are you okay?"
This was like his fourth time jumping up from a scary scence.
"Yeah I'm fine. Why?" He snapped trying to act cool.
Wow I never expected a bad boy to be scared of scary movies. Judged too quickly I guess.
"Nothing."
As I watch the movie my stomach growls a little bit loud.
"You hungry?"
As I open my mouth to reply back Josh stuffs a Oreo in my mouth.
"What the fudge!" I said chewing the delicious chocolate and cream.
"Fudge." He chuckled.
It's been a while since I ate Oreos.
Flashback
I was eight years old and a little bit chubby. In the middle of the night I woke up and decided to get a midnight snack.
I walk into the kitchen and pulled out the Oreos and decided to fix a glass of milk. Sitting down at the dining table, I took the Oreo apart and start to lick the icing first.
"What are you doing." Someone snaps.
I look up to see my mother with a disgusted look on her face.
"I was hung-
"Bobbi you're not hungry okay. You don't need Oreos it's to fattening and right now you're making it worst by just eating that."
"You know what I will let you decide. Eat Oreos and make it worst or just go to bed."
I looked at the plate of Oreos, then at her, then the plate of Oreos.
"Oreos." I squealed as I lick the icing.
My mom walked slowly over to me, grabbed the Oreos and threw them away.
"No Bobbi! No Oreos! Okay you need to lose weight.Don't you realize all the other girls are not like you" She hissed looking at me with disgust.
I was so shocked all I could do is nod quickly.
"Good girl, now go to bed."
"Bobbi, earth to Bobbi."
My head snaps up to see Josh with a puzzled look on his face.
"Yeah."
"Did you hear me?"
"No, sorry, sometimes I'll just be in my own world." I chuckled nervously.
"Oh well um nevermind."
"Wait what did you say?" I questioned.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No." I said a tad but quickly.
Why would he want to know that?
I'm ugly, boring, fat. No one would want to be near me.
"Hm interesting."
"Why?"
"No it's just I thought a pretty girl like yourself would have a boyfriend."
No not again. I felt my face getting warm and I'm pretty sure my face is a bloodshot red.
Oh Bobbi get a hold of yourself. You're not pretty he's just saying that because he feels bad for you.
As I try to ignore the voice in my head. Josh jumps slightly again from another scary scence.
