Bobbi's pov.
I wake up to the sound of Melanie Martinez's voice. A smile appeared on my face when I realized today was Friday. The day where I get to go home, watch Netflix, and sleep. While everyone else today is going to parties.
Parties are to overrated to me and to cliché.
All you do is get drunk, have sex, and make big mistakes.
But then again I never went to one.
I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, washed my face, and brushed my messy hair. After that I picked out my white Arctic Monkeys shirt and my black jeans.
As I put on my white converse hightops I checked the time and saw that I had exactly 45 minutes of just me and the beach. I opened up my window, and jumped out, landing perfectly on the ground. I grabbed my long board and made my way to the beach.

My legs sway back and forth as I sit on the rocky cliff.
I didn't feel like going to school today. I mean I should be wanting to go to school since I'm a nerd and all but I just didn't feel like it today.
You mean like you don't feel like seeing Josh.
"What you thinking about?"
I look next to me to see Dylan.
Holy shit!
"What happened to your eye."
"I mean that's none of my b-
"No, no its fine um my step brother and I got in a fight."
"Oh." Is all I said.
"So what's going up in that smart head of yours?" He said.
"Nothing."
"Oh really, I've been sitting here for the last ten minutes and you didn't even recognize my presence."
"S-sorry."
"So what are you thinking about."
"I don't feel like going to school today." I mumbled.
"Who doesn't? It's fucking school. I'm surprised that you would even feel that type of way."
"Because I'm a nerd." I muttered.
"What?"
"Nothing." I stated.
"So you going to this party today at nine?"
I looked at him with a straight face, then I burst into laughter.
"What?" He chuckled.
"Do you see me as the partying type?"
He smirked as he looked at my face carefully.
I quickly look down. I hated when people would looked at me too long.
"Eh maybe."
Then I looked up and gave him that look like, really.
"Okay maybe not, but you should defiantly come tonight."
"Nah, I'm busy anyway."
"Oh, homework and studying."
Ha,nope, already did it. Such an overachiever.
"Yep."
We stayed there in silence, the only sound we were hearing were the loud waves.
"I like you."
