Gemma's POV:
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I opened my eyes to the most annoying sound ever. My alarm. I hit the stop button and looked at the time. It was 6:00. "uggh" I said as I rolled out of my bed. I literally rolled out of my bed. Bad idea, Gemma! I thought. I smiled to myself and got up. I need to get changed, I thought.
I got a towel and went to my bathroom. I turned on the water until it was at a good temperature. I took off my clothes and jumped in. After about 10 minutes I got out and went to my room. I put on my clothes. I did my hair and makeup. I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. When I got there Jack was already there. "Hey" I said with a smile. Jack turned around with a lunch bag in his hand. His jaw dropped. I smiled and walked over. I grabbed my lunch bag from his hands. " Close your mouth you'll catch flies" I said as I walked out the door. I got in my car and drove to work.
I drove down the cliff road where I met Jack. I smiled as I remembered the past couple of days. Jack asked me to go to New York with him a few days ago. I have been waiting for Jack to be ready. He promised that we will tell my Aunt Lola together but I need to ask Mr.Stanley if I can go.
I finally got to the internship offices. I got out of my car and locked it. When I got to Mr.Stanley's office, I took a deep breath. " Hello, Mr.Stanley" I said smiling at him. "Good morning,Gemma" Mr.Stanley said looking at his computer. He was sitting at his desk typing away. "Mr.Stanley, can I please ask you a question" I asked. I could feel my palms all sweaty. What if Mr.Stanley says no then what. I'll have to tell Jack I can't take him then he'll have to look for someone else to take him, I thought.
"Of course, go ahead" Mr.Stanley said. He finished typing and looked up at me.
" Umm.... c-can I please get a uhh... couple days off," I stuttered.
"How many do you need," Mr.Stanley asked.
"Can I umm... take a week" I asked. "I already have the hours for next week done,"He looked as if he was thinking. please, please, please, I thought. He then looked at me again and said "Ok, you can. You're a hard worker." He said with a smile. "Thank you so much Mr.Stanley" I beamed.
"No problem Gemma, oh and please can you make copies of this" He said.
"Yes of course," I replied.
Unknown POV:
Our plan is coming into play. She has taken the bait all we need is for her to get on the road. Be careful Gemma, Darling.
