Summer Love

Chapter 3 :

Summer in the City Day 2:

Dan's POV –

I woke up, I groaned and stretching my arms. Phil was still asleep in the bed next to me, hearing his soft snoring.

I remembered the details at last night's party.

Leah.

Leah and I kissed and it was the most magical feeling ever.

There's just this incredible feeling whenever I'm around her, like nothing else in the world matters, as cliché as that sounds.

I finally decided to drag my lazy ass out of bed and took a long shower. I got dressed into a slim fit pair of skinny jeans, a black t shirt with a design on it and a pair of sneakers. I left my hair natural, too lazy to dry and straighten it.

It was almost 12 in the afternoon, so I decided to call up Leah to see if she wanted to go grab some lunch. Was she weirded out of what happened last night? No, she couldn't be. I mean she kissed me back. Wait. Maybe she thinks I'm a bad kisser? Oh my god she probably does. No Dan stop talking, just call her already.

"Hey."

"Hey Dan!" Leah said.

"Uh, I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch. ... Together?"

"Sure! Just give me 15 minutes and meet me in the lobby?" she said.

"Yeah sure!" I laughed nervously.

Let's all hope this goes well.

You better not mess up Dan.

Leah's POV –

"Dan just asked me out for lunch!"

"Oh my god! Go get ready NOW!" Zoe yelled in my ear.

I told the girls everything that happened at the party last night. And they freaked out more than me ...

I went over to my suitcase and pulled out a pair of light blue high waist shorts, a muscle tank and a pair of black vans.

I shoved my hair into a messy bun, applied a minimum amount of make up and left to meet Dan at the lobby. I hope this time Laura doesn't show up.

"Dan!" I yelled, he turned around, a big smile on his face.

"Hey!" he came and gave me a hug, "Let's go."

We arrived to this little restaurant and were seated on the terrace, over looking the park.

We ordered our food and chatted for a while, Dan told me about his really funny life experiences while I sat there laughing like a maniac.

Dan was telling me how he was studying law at university and was planning to drop out since he has lost interest. He asked what I was studying in university, I simply told him I had an undecided major but was also going to drop out to get a job and focus more on my videos.

After lunch, Dan decided to head back to Summer in the City as there was going to be a meet and greet in an hour or so.

"Alright, I was wondering if you want to do a video with me?" Dan asked.

"Yeah of course!"

"Great, I actually wrote somewhat of a script this time." He laughed.

"Alright, meet me by the pool. I need to go up and grab my camera and tripod."

"Same. Okay, I'll see you later."

I inserted my room key into the door and pushed the door open. Louise and Zoe weren't there. Hmmm. Wonder where they ran off to without messaging me.

I grabbed my camera off the table and my tripod and heading back down to the lobby towards the pool. I put on my RayBans and sat on the lounge chairs as I waited for Dan to arrive.

Dan arrived and we filmed two videos, one on each of our channels.

"Aren't you upset that today's the last day of Summer in the City?" Dan asked.

"Yeah, I am! I've had so much fun meeting everyone!" I smiled.

"Same here! Well, especially you..." he shyly said.

"Well we should definitely meet up some time."

"I'll like that." He replied.

"Hey where have you guys been?" I said as I walked into my hotel room, seeing the crew. Jack, Marcus, Caspar and Alfie were editing or uploading a new video, Maz, Sam and Louis were lying on my bed joking around but Joe, Finn, Louise and Zoe were nowhere to be seen.

No one answered me. Well.

"Guys? How'd you get in my room if Louise and Zoe aren't here?" I asked.

"Oh, they were here. They just went on a Starbucks run." Caspar chirped.

"So how was your dateeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?" Marcus asked cheekily.

"It wasn't a date. It was just two friends going out for lunch." I said. I wasn't quite sure where Dan and I were at, we haven't actually defined the relationship. But then again we've only been on two "dates".

"Yeah, well if you say so." Marcus grinned.

I walked over to Caspar and wrapped my arms around his neck and looked over his laptop. Caspy is like my little brother, I just love him to bits.

He was editing his new video that I featured in heheh.

There was another awesome Youtuber party tonight, as it was the last night of Summer in the City and everyone was leaving tomorrow. I honestly felt bad that I haven't spent as much time as I wanted to with my friends at SITC so I decided I'll have an amazing time with my friends tonight and make the best of it.

We walked through the giant door as I felt the sound of the bass in my heart and the smell of alcohol filled the air. A bunch of really upbeat songs were playing as a club remix version or whatever but the DJ was pretty awesome.

We all danced for a while, danced meaning jumping up and down with our fists in the air and basically Marcus twerking with his Nicki Minaj butt.

I saw Dan in the distance talking to some other Youtubers, I wanted to go over and talk to him but I decided against it. I was here to spend time with my friends and besides I don't know how I'm going to say bye to him.

After many drinks and lots of twerking with Marcus, it was time to call it a night.

"C'mon! Just ONE more drink!" Zoe begged, I can't handle her when she's drunk.

"No! C'mon get on the bed."

"ughhhhhh" she groaned.

I placed her sideways in case she throws up, wrapped a blanket over her curled up body. Zoe is like an eight year old when she's drunk. -Sighhhh-.

I collapsed on my bed, I didn't even bother taking a shower, I'm so exhausted.

I immediately drifted to sleep. I wonder what was going to happen between Dan and I.

Will he want to hang out after SITC? Does he want to be friends or more? I don't even know.
