Nothing infuriates me more than the fact there something that I want that's sitting right in front of me and I can't reach nor grab it.

"Fucking hell"

I kept reading through her report over and over again. Is this really her? After all theses years have I finally found her?

Yes this has to be her

"I told you that I'd find you and now your going to pay for what you did."

Flashback

Today had been a long day, I had a whole bunch of cases that were piled up on my desk luckily I had gotten through more then half, I'll just finish up the rest tomorrow. I shut down my computer and stacked all the rest of the crap on my desk to the side, I'll organize that tomorrow to. Jenna would have my head if she saw what my mess my desk has become. I shut off my desk light causing the room to go dark but I knew my way around pretty well so the darkness didn't phase me at all. I grabbed my coat and threw it over my shoulders as I headed out of the front door, something hard hit my back. When I stepped outside I pulled my jacket in front of me to see what had it been that hit me. I reached down in my pockets and pulled out my phone. Impressed the home tutor and the screen bloomed to life, I had several missing calls from Lexi and a voicemail from some random number.

"Shit"

I quickly dialed her number and the place the phone to my ear as I walked to my car and searched my keys.

"Dad?"

"Hey baby girl, sorry I was booked in the office today you wouldn't believe-...hey what's wrong baby why are you crying?"

Her voice had broken into a quiet sob and that concerned me.

"Lexi baby what's wrong?"

I was trying to be calm and soothe her, but she just cried harder.

"It's mom."

I froze

"Is she ok?"

"S-she's in the hospital, s-something happened at the asylum. Dad I-"

She broke out crying again and my heart was thumping against my ribcage

"Lexi where are you?"

"I'm at the hospital in the waiting area."

She sniffed a few times

"Alright I'll be there in a few minutes don't go anywhere."

I hopped inside my truck and started the engine and headed straight for the hospital I just hope nothing to serious had happened.
When I arrived I could see Jenna and before I knew it I was running to her.

"Lexi"I said

She looked up at me. Her eyes were red and puffy along with her nose. I sat beside her and pulled her into my chest.
