Chapter 40 (Part 1)

Mabel's POV
I had spent about 20 minutes begging for air because of how much I was laughing. Harry and detective steven, well Steven that's what he told me to call him now. Anyways they had come by and decided that now would be a great to tell me all theses back stories of the stupid things that they did.

"Are you serious! Did you get caught?" I asked

"No, I literally walked straight past the guy, he was oblivious."

I cackled again tears were trickling down my cheek I hadn't laughed this hard In a while it felt really nice especially after all that's happened.

"Wow! And somehow your a detective?"

"Oh, hush." He says before giving me a smile.

We all looked toward the door to see my nurse peeping her head in.

"Oh! Sorry to interrupt." She says. She's always so awkward.

"It's ok." Harry chuckles

"Well, uh- visiting hours are over in 5 minutes." She looked so pale as she looked at Harry and that's when it hit me. I felt so stupid she's probably a fan of Harry's band. She looks around my age it could be a possibility.

"Can't I just stay here?" Harry asked her with these silly puppy eyes.

(Pfft As if that would work)

She blushed so hard, her face was the color of a tamato it took a lot in me not to laugh, aww I felt so bad for her.

"I-I'm sorry but it's the rules sir."

I elbowed Harry in the side.

"Ow! What was that for?" I pulled him so my lips were to his ear and giggled.

"I think you may have a fan." I whispered

And then he came to a realization but before he could say anything she beat him to it.

"I'm apologize but I'm such a huge fan, and I was wondering if you could sign this?" She handed him a photo and it was of him and the boys.

He chuckled before taking out a pen and began writing something I couldn't really read it because it was in cursive and I can't really read cursive all that well.

"What's you name love?" He asked her very politely

"M-Melody." She said

"That's a beautiful name." He says as he hands her the picture back

"Thank you so much! I won't bother you again."

Harry stands up and gives her a small hug before she leaves only for her to come back to remind us that our 5 minutes are almost up.

"Well that's our cue." Steven says

Harry groans as he calapsed his upper body onto me. I moved the remaining hair out of his eyes that were focused on mine

"Go ahead I'll see you tomorrow."

"I don't want to leave."

"I don't want you to leave either, but hey it's the hospital rules." He sat up and placed his cheek in the palm of his hand. My eyes traveled to his lips, those beautiful pink plush lips. I leaned in and gave him a lingering kiss.

"I love you." I said

"I love you too." He said

"Uh-hem" we both looked toward Steven I had completely forgotten that he was still here. I leaned back chuckling as I watched them leave.
