The New Life

Chapter 1

I'm just sitting on my throne up in heaven watching the world try and become something great and learn the secrets of life. I read many of your minds at a time and some of you are slowly finding the secrets of this world. I'm just surprised at how close you humans are at finding out that the secret it that the world is JUST BECAUSE. Yeah, I know, that's all there is to it. But telling you about my job as God is not what this story is about. So while I was looking into your minds I find this one human girl that has already found out the secrets to life. I look a little bit more into it and she has all the knowledge of the universe and knows everything that an all powerful being like me and my 11 siblings should know about. I then decided to break one of the rules to this job and that is to look at one of the humans faces after reading there mind. Ya I know that's a weird rule but it's in the rule book. And when I see her my heart starts to beat faster and faster I feel my hands start to shake and all I have to say about her is WOW! She is even more beautiful then any of the angels up here. I watch her a little more and see that she acts unlike and of the humans that I have to watch. And before all you humans reading this start putting comments like

         "Aren't you like a couple million years old for any human."

        Let me just say that All Powerful  Beings have very slow aging processes, and I mean very slow aging processes. If I was to put my age into human years I would be around maybe 16 years old, and this girl is 14 so HA! So I'm watching her more closely and start to ignore my duties as God and not pay any attention to all you other humans. Sorry about that. But back to the story. I then try and learn more about her, I finally find out her name and her name is Sara. I then grab my book of all humans currently on earth. I start to look for her name, when I found it, let me just say there are many humans with the name Sara. I start flipping through the pages to try and find her face and after a couple earth days of searching I finally find her and start to read about her. I then look to see if she has a soul mate and look to see if they are alive or not

    "Damn it! She does and it's some kid with the name John Smith."

        I start to think to myself for a little bit and go to my book of rules of being God. And look into the rules about possessing a human, and this is what it said

1) You are only allowed to possess a human if they give full permission to do so
2) Within 5 minutes of a humans death you are aloud to possess them with out permission but will be forced out of the body in 5 days
3) if they are a god like entity with powers that only a god should have you will be allowed to possess this person without permission

   After reading this I immediately go and research this John Smith. I grab my book of humans back and start to flip through the pages again and I can't find anyone with the name John at all. I go back to the cover and read the title of it again and it says Book of all Human Females.

          "What is this? When did we need a book to separate the males and the females." I say "Gabriel! Get over here!"

       The arc angle flys over and says

            "Yes. My Lord."

           "When did we need two books to separate the human males and females."

           "About 100 years ago my lord."

          "Ugh, this makes my job so much harder. Ok can you get me the book with the males."

        "What's the magic word my lord."

       "Get me the book NOW."

       "It's please my lord."

      "Whatever, just get me the damn book."

      "Ugh, Gods." Gabriel mutters under his breath.

       "Ugh Arc Angels!" I yell to him.

    He then hands me my book and tell him he is dismissed.

        "Ugh, why are there so many books about humans? Now I finally understand why they created the internet. All there knowledge in the palm of their hand."

         I start flipping through the pages to find this one human and finally I find him after a week or two. I don't really keep track of time up here. My first thought of this human is that he looks exactly like me. I read down a little and see that he is to die in a plane crash in the middle summer of 2014. I read a little bit more about him and he sorta acts like me with the I don't really care about working attitude but still gets it done, sometimes. Then I decided to check out the time of earth and it is the middle of July of 2014.

        "So, it looks like he is going to die at some point this year. Wait, isn't July in the middle of summer?"

       I then quickly pull up the earth watching station on my throne and search up John Smith and see what he is doing. And he is actually in the plane falling down into the ground. I get off my throne and run to the edge of the clouds and dive head first at the planet. I send a telepathic message to John and I say

          "John, listen to this voice."

        "This doesn't sound like the usual voices I create in my head." Says John

       "No, this is God. I have chosen you to become my vessel and save all of earth in the very distant future, do you give me permission to take over you body?" I tell him.

         "Will you be able to save the people of this plane?"

        "I would be able to, however I wou..."

        "Then yes, take over my body before everyone here dies!!" He screams at me.

      I see that he really wants to save these people. I fly closer to the falling plane and enter it. I find John and go over to him and I tell him

           "I'm sorry you will be the only one to die of this incident."

      I reach into John's body and pull out his soul, and enter it myself. It feels weird being inside of  a mortal body. The only way I can explain this feeling is by taking the saying walking in another person's shoes to a whole new level.
