A picture of Megan at the top
--->Some people love their bodies others hate them and try to change it as much as possible. I was one of those people , who tried to change their body as much as possible . It started out when I looked in my mirror and looked at a picture of a girl. I wanted to be just like her and all of the tumblr girls. Who were the pictures of perfection.
The girls who had " IT" at my school were made fun of, ignored , and bullied. Now they ruled the school. Because they had the picture of perfection that everyone else wanted. Even the Gems, ( who were previously popular) , where forgotten . And were as low as the nerds, geeks, and book worms. I knew I had to be at the top. And with just a bit of time, I could be. And the only thing I needed was, the Gap.
I then started to compare myself to the girl in the Victoria's Secret magazine. She had blonde hair (typical) , and blue eyes. I had brown hair and blue eyes. Her face was flawless, mine was blooming with pimples left and right. She was a size 2 I'm a size 9. I'm 5'6 she's 5'10 . The girl was slim I was fat. She was perfect I was not. I looked up on Google on what to do to get the Gap. I first looked on WikiHow.com.
It says that the gap is genetic. I cursed under my breath. " Bullshit" . I closed the website, becoming deaf it's lies and fiction. I knew that if the internet couldn't give me answers I'd have to get it from the Gap queen herself. Melissa Jackleson. But I knew it was impossible her email box was filled with questions 24/7 and it would take a month to be answered.
I didn't want to wait that long, so I looked back on the internet. I then found this Gap plan made by a girl named "GapPrincess227" on Pinterest.
The first thing she had was a set of rules:
"Always eat less than 900 a day
Never miss a day of exercise
Always ignore your cravings
You CANNOT eat if you already had over 900 calories
Only wear skinny jeans
Never quit
Love your new body"I read and memorized these rules and wrote them on my wall with a permanent marker. Then covered it up with a picture of perfection. The picture that I wanted to be. After a few hours my room was decorated with my inspiration. Victoria's Secret models in thier perfection painted my walls.
Along with models from Macy's, JC Penny, and a bunch of other franchises. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on my door. It was my older sister Vanessa. " Its time for dinner , Megan " she said with a slight smile on her face. " Why are you so happy, Vanessa? " I asked.
She giggled like a perky school girl in response, then turned and closed the door. I then decided that I would start GapPrincess227's plan today. And I'm pretty sure I've already went over 900 calories. So I decided that no matter what was made for dinner, I would not eat it.
