I could feel a warm liquid pooling beneath my neck and shoulders. I jumped up and realized it was the blood from my flask. I quickly stripped the sheets and hid them under the bed. There was a soft tap on my door. I opened the door hiding my blood stained body behind it.
"It's time for dinner." Masky stated
"I was hoping to take a shower first."
"When you finish come down to the dining room."
I nodded and smiled closing the door. I realized I had no clothes. I took my bloody items off and wrapped myself in a quilt. I stepped I to the hallway and saw a girl walking toward me. She had long black hair, porcelain white skin, and coal black eyes. I stopped her.
"Hey, hello, I don't have any clothes. Could you help me out?"
She looked me up and down and smiled maliciously. A knife slid down her jacket sleeve.
"JANE NO!" Someone yelled
She looked behind her and put the knife away. It was Hoodie. He walked closer and whispered to her. She blushed and mumbled an apology. Hoodie was holding what looked like a pile of clothes. He handed them to me and pulled Jane along with him. I looked up and down the hall unsure of where the bathroom was. A small blonde boy wearing a green tunic exited one of the rooms.
"Excuse me!" I called
He stopped and turned around cocking his head to the right. He gave the same smile Jane gave.
"Look, let's skip the whole trying to kill me thing. Just tell me where the bathroom is."
His smile faded and he looked at me with interest before pointing to the first door on the left. I smiled and turned away. The bathroom was pure white except for the red towels hanging on the towel rack. I dropped the quilt I was wrapped in and placed the clothes in my arms on the sink. I turned the water all the way over. As I waited for it to heat up I undid my braid. A few droplets of blood splashed onto the floor. I cursed myself and decided to clean it up after my shower. The water was finally hot enough so I stepped into the clawfoot tub.
--------------------
I dressed in the attire provided by Hoodie. It was a pair of oversized black sweatpants. Thankfully they had a drawstring. The black t shirt fit much better. I assumed the pants belonged to a male and the shirt belonged to a female. Due to the towels being red the blood blended in quite well allowing for me to clean the floor without worry. I left the bathroom carrying the quilt along with me. I threw it under the bed along with my bloody sheets. I braided my hair again as I thudded down the stairs and entered the dining room. The others had already started to eat. The only chair open was between Jane, who smiled maliciously, and a boy with messy black hair, wide eyes, bleach white skin, and a smile that looked carved into his face. I reluctantly took a seat. Masky, who sat across from me, filled my glass with water. I smiled in thanks and looked over the food. There was a plate of pancakes, a cheesecake, a mass of bloody organs, and various other foods. I looked sideways at the bloody organs and felt my mouth water. Looking around I noticed only one person had a bloody mass on their plate. He wore a black Hoodie and a blue mask with black holes for eyes that dripped what seemed to be a tar like substance. His hood was down and I could see he had brown hair. It was messy due to what I assumed the quick removal of his hood. I eyed him warily. He must have felt me staring because he looked in my direction. I glanced between him and the organs on his plate. He picked up the plate and handed it to Jane who gave it to me."Kidneys." She hissed in my ear.
I took two off of the plate and she handed it back to the blue faced boy. I sneaked a slice of cheesecake, as well as some pasta and a pancake. The kidneys tasted a bit metallic due to the blood. I enjoyed every bite. The others finished quickly, I lagged a bit behind. When I finished Slender cleared his throat and spoke.
"Children, we have a new guest in our home. My cousin, Kylie. A few have already met her. She may look like a normal human but I assure you she is not."
My face grew hot due to all eyes being on me. I waved shyly and looked at Slender. He nodded and dismissed the table. Everyone stood and walked off in various directions. I too stood and walked through the parlor, headed to my room. As I got to the bottom of the stairs I felt small arms wrap around my waist. I looked down to see a small girl with dark brown hair in a light pink dress covered in scratches and holding a teddy bear.
"Come play with me." She states innocently
I knelt down next to her, "What do you want to play?"
She took my hand, I stood, and she led me to the dining room. The table had been cleared. The dirty dishes were replaced by a porcelain tea set. Sitting on the table in place of the other people were stuffed animals. I sat in the only open seat. The girl leaned over the table and filled my tea cup. It looked like real tea. She offered a plate of finger sandwiches. I took one despite being stuffed from dinner.
"I'm sorry little one, I didn't catch your name." I stated as I took a sip of tea
"I'm Sally." She replied simply
"'Tis a pleasure, Sally m'dear."
She giggled. I wasn't one to like children. Although there was something about this little girl that made me feel protective.
I spent the rest of that afternoon having tea with Sally.
