When my vision cleared I was in a completely different place. It wasn't the trail that led to school. The sky was covered by dark clouds without a single ray of sunlight breaking through; the mountains were made of obsidian, the ground was made of human bones, the rivers were flowing with black water and to add to this strangeness was that my body had changed.

I ran to a nearby creek and looked at my reflection in the stream of black water when I noticed I looked like a corpse. My face was decomposed; my hands were nothing but bone, my eyes had turned a milky white. I tried to scream but I had no voice. I thought to myself. "Okay this is nothing but a dream; I just need to calm down." I said. Just then an enormous explosion of red and neon green light went off in the sky. I ran closer to see what the source of the explosion was. When I got to the place where the explosion occurred I saw something that filled me with pure terror, two figures were battling.

One was a demon with rust red scaled skin; charcoal black horns that were each a foot long, a crown that seemed to be made of charred human bones. He had golden eyes; all of his teeth were razor sharp fangs. He had wings made of molten magma and a six foot long spiked tail. In his hands were twin swords that looked like they were made of volcanic rock dripping with lava and the blades edges were on fire.

The second figure was a hooded man with clothes made of shadow; he had a book with a glowing neon green skull on the cover and an hour glass made of bones with black sand poring in it. His hands were bone, and in them was a large black iron scythe that had leather strappings over the handle and he had wings that were made of decomposed sinews and ash white bones that seemed to glow in the dark lightless sky.

His face was covered by his hood but I knew who it was. It was the Grim Reaper. "Surrender Samiel." said the Grim Reaper in a hissing double toned voice. "NEVER!" shouted the demon in a deep booming voice. "I'm going to end you Death!" said Samiel. As he flew to attack Death, his twin swords caught fire completely and fused into one flaming two-handed sword.

Samielraised his weapon and slashed at Death but it was blocked by Death's scythe. The sword broke in half and then Death sliced off Samiel's right wing. Once itwas severed the wing disintegrated into dust. Samiel could no longer fly andsoon fell to the boney earth leaving a crater the size of a baseball field, asthe dust cleared Samiel was struggling to pick himself up. Bones from theground had pierced the flesh of his chest, right arm and his left leg, his leftarm was bent the wrong way, and his left horn had snapped in half. Deathwas standing at the edge of the crater with his scythe over his shoulder whileSamiel tried to crawl his way out of it. "This is disappointing Samiel. "Ithought you would've learned after all these centuries but I guess I was wrong. You still have a chance to surrender you know" said Death. "Iwill never surrender to you Reaper!" Samiel said Death flew into the center of thecrater, "last chance." said Death "NEVER!"shouted Samiel. Death lifted his scythe and was about to end the battle "Allright, I surrender." said Samiel "You made a wise choice, Demon King."said Death. As he held out his skeletal hand and Samiel took it. Death stabbedhis scythe's handle into the ground and it sank within the earth of bones and disappeared. He then helped Samiel to his feet as they climbed out of the crater and Samiel'sright arm caught fire. When the flames dissipated, in Samiel's hand was a foot longgolden glowing spearhead. Death didn't seem to notice the weapon. I tried totell him to watch out but it was too late. The spearhead had pierced the GrimReaper's back. "Youwere always so merciful Death!" shouted Samiel Then Death's body exploded in aflash of neon green. When the light faded Death's form shimmered neon green. "Nicetry Samiel but only one thing can kill deities like us and honestly did youthink I didn't notice you summoned the spearhead. You may have defeated me but bewarned; the time for The Final Reaper has come." Inthat instant Death's body burst into six neon green flames and flew into the darksky. As soon as the flames disappeared the ground around me was opened up and swallowedme whole. I awoke to my friend Zack yelling my name.
