Moving to London (1D)

Moving to the city

I woke up in my half empty bedroom
I had to get up to catch my flight

I rushed out of bed and got dressed in the cloths I had laid out last night
I was getting so nervous, my mom and dad were supportive that I was going to move out but they didn't really think I could handle it
,,you call us anytime any day if you need anything" mom said while helping me get my stuff out to the car
,,we will miss you a lot" dad said and hugged me tightly
,,I will miss you too guys" I said and hugged them both

I got in the taxi and now we were heading over to Debby's house to get her
I called her and told her that I was on my way, she sounded nervous in the phone

,,Hiii" Debby said when she got in the taxi, her voice vibrated, she was obviously nervous
,,it's going to be fun, trust me" I said to Debby and held her hand to show her that I would be there for her if she would be scared
Her face light up a bit
Someone knocked on the window of the car, we were still in Debby's driveway
,,hey you lesbian couple" Gareth, Debby's brother said to get our attention
,,good luck" he added and left
,,thanks" we yelled back at him
Debby's family waved us while the taxi drove away

,,I'm so afraid that I had forgotten something" Debby said
,,then will just get your family to send it or just buy a new thing" I said relaxed

Debby had always been more nervous about things like this then me
I am used to be home alone for long times so this wasn't going to be too different for me on the other hand Debby had a big family and wasn't home alone a lot...

We arrived airport, it wasn't busy at all
We checked ourselves in and went through security

,,should we get something to eat? I didn't managed to eat too much this morning" Debby said
We decided to sit down at Joe the juice and get some smothies and sandwiches
,,So when we arrive where are we going to go?" Debby asked me
,,I booked us a hotel for two nights in centrum London, so we can look around for some rental apartments while we stay at the hotel"
,,what if we don't find anything for our budget?" Debby said scared
,,we will make it! Common look on the bright sides, we are free and we can do whatever we want! We have been saving up for this moment for so long" I said to her

Me and Debby had just graduated school and we were only 19 years old which maybe sounds young to be moving far away from our families but this was most likely just going to be one year that we will spend doing crazy things in the city
We had been working hard for this all summers and Debby even worked at a bakery in the winters too!
Our parents also gave us a lot of money to help us
Debby snapped me out of my thoughts
,,shouldn't we get going?" She asked me
I checked my watch ,,yeah let's go"

We got on board of the plane and mom and dad had managed to us both first class seats
We got given soda and all kinds of snacks
,,cheers to a new life" I said to Debby and we raced our soda glasses

Debby fell asleep, she probably didn't get a lot of sleep last night cause she was freaking out about this whole moving thing

I listened to Beyoncé songs and stared out the window, there wasn't much left of the flight we were only flying from Ireland to London

The airplane touched down and the captain welcomed us to London
,,wake up Debby" I said and poked her shoulder
She opened her eyes confused
,,we are in London BABY!" I said exited and she laughed at me
,,really?" She added and sat up
I nodded
,,get your stuff we need to be quick to get an uber" I said to her

We barely had to wait for our bags
Now we had to act fast to get an uber, all the passengers were fighting for a cab or an uber
,,Come on let's be quick" I said to Debby and we ran with all our stuff in strollers
,,THERE!" Debby said and pointed at an empty uber
We managed to get that uber
