Finding out

I woke up to a movement next to me. I didn't have a clue what time it was cause neither of us had set up an alarm. I checked my phone and the clock was already 1 pm, I saw I had a new message from Debby.

I'm on my way home :) see you soon -Debby

My heart dropped.
,,holy shit" I said out loud.
,,what babe?" I heard Liam ask tiredly.
I checked when the message was sent and it was sent for about an hour ago!!
,,how long does it take to drive from Harry's house to here?" I asked Liam stressed.
,,about one hour, why?" He asked still laying with his eyes closed
,,fuck! You need to get out!!" I said and got out of bed quickly
,,why?" Liam asked surprised
,,Debby's on her way! She will be here probably any minute now!" I said pulling his hand to get him out of bed
,,really?" He asked a little bit confused, he still looked really tired and I felt bad for having to wake him up like this.

I ran out to the balcony to check if I could see the car, but I couldn't. When I came back in I heard the key in the door and right when the door opened Liam came out of my bedroom in his boxers asking me if I knew where his pants were. I saw how shocked Debby was, her eyes were widened and she looked at us without saying anything.

,,welcome home" Liam said to Debby after an awkward silence.
,,well I should get going" Liam said awkwardly when Debby didn't answer him. Liam walked past Debby in the doorway only on his boxers and went to his apartment. I stood there left with Debby still staring at me shocked.
,,I'm going to get dressed" I finally said and walked into my bedroom. I heard Debby follow me.
,,umm care to explain Ericka??" She asked me.
,,and doesn't he have a girlfriend!?" She added and looked a little bit disappointed in me.
,,okay no Liam broke up with her a while ago and me and him have been kinda dating but nobody knows except you and Niall so yeah" I said as fast as I could.
,,Niall knows!?" Debby said shocked.
,,that was the only thing you took up from that?" I asked
,,okay no wait what??? Why haven't you told me about this?? And for how long have you been "seeing" him?" Debby asked confused and sat down on my bed.
,,I don't know" I replied
,,you don't know???" She asked frustrated
,,how did this even happen?" She added
,,okay let me see, Liam and I were once alone in the pool past midnight and he kissed me. Then he kissed me again when I was about to go inside our apartment" I said
,,when we're you in the pool after midnight?" Debby asked and shock her head confused
,,I've done it more then once" I said and laughed.
,,you were with Harry and I just decided to go for a swim" I added and smiled.
,,wow this is some big news for me!" Debby said still with her eyes widened.
,,look I'm sorry that I never told you! But Liam was still in a relationship when we first kissed and I didn't want you to think he was a jerk or to think I was a jerk!" I said trying to make Debby understand my situation.
,,so me and Niall are the only once who know?" Debby asked after a while, I nodded.
,,are you planning on telling the others soon?" Debby asked
,,yeah just as soon as possible I think" I answered
,,and omg Louis kissed you! Were you and Liam a thing then!?" Debby asked exited
,,mhmm yeah kinda" I said and nodded
,,oh my god" Debby said and laughed
,,and I was always trying to get you to like Louis! Now I understand why you weren't really into that idea" she said as everything was getting clearer for her.

Debby wasn't mad at me, she kinda understanded that I didn't enjoy lying to her. She told me about here weekend with Harry and it sounded really fun and romantic. They went to some adventure Christmas park and I was pretty jealous cause I hadn't gone to an adventure park for a while now.

I had a text from Liam asking if he could come back to get his clothes, I chuckled to myself thinking that he probably hadn't any other clothes. I went over to Liam's apartment with his clothes and he came to open the door on his boxers.
,,thank you! I was getting pretty cold" he said and laughed. I noticed the blanket on the sofa and realized that he had probably been freezing just on his boxers here.
,,so what did you say to Debby?" He asked me while getting dressed.
,,I just told her everything" I said to him.
,,yeah? How did she take it?" He asked with a smile.
,,she was very surprised" I said and laughed, Liam laughed too.
,,okay then we just have to tell Zayn, Louis and Harry" Liam said after a while. I nodded.
I stayed over at Liam's for about an hour but then he needed to get going back home. He kissed me goodbye and wished me a merry Christmas.

Debby and I had bought a Christmas tree the other day when our family was over so now we just had to decorate it. We played Michael Buble's Christmas album while decorating the tree and our apartment. I was really getting into the Christmas spirit, tomorrow night would be Christmas Eve and me and Debby we're making some fancy dinner.

Christmas Eve was went pretty good. Me and Debby spent the whole day cooking some fancy dinner and constantly calling our parents for some instructions, but we eventually got it and the dinner was really good. We had also prepared a nice desert which we ate while sitting on the sofa talking. Me and Debby were obviously just two so we couldn't play our favorite board game so we just played some cards. It was a really cosy night.

I woke up before Debby which was strange cause that barely happened. I went to the kitchen and started making us breakfast. It was Christmas morning and I couldn't wait to see how Debby would like my gift. I had gotten her tickets for us to go see Beyoncé! I was really exited for that!

Debby finally woke up and we ate waffles, bacon, eggs and fresh fruit for breakfast. We were really stuffed after all the food and now it was time to open the few gifts we had under the tree.

,,I really want you to open your present from you parents cause the box is pretty big" I said exited to Debby.
Debby opened her present from her parents and she had gotten a smoothie blender which was perfect for our apartment! We had been craving smoothies a couple of times and we didn't really wanna walk to town to get a smoothie there. Now we can just make them at home.

Opening the presents took a short time but it was really fun. Debby's reaction to the Beyoncé tickets was literally priceless, she jumped on me and started tearing up. Her present to me was also too good! She got us a whole day at a really nice spa about an hour away from London. I couldn't wait to go to the spa! She showed me pictures and it was literally a spa that celebrities go to. Debby also got me a sweater that I had been dreaming of for so long.

This Christmas was very different, neither of us had ever spent the whole Christmas without our family. But it was fun changing things up.
