Chapter 16

"Wake up, wake up, wake up, we're going christmas shopping." Tom said as he started jumping on the bed.

I grabbed my glasses off my nightstand and I saw that he was smiling like an idiot.

"Why did you wake me up this early, I wanna sleep." I groaned and he sat down next to me.

"It's lunch time, I've let you sleep long enough, now get up." he said and he pulled me up by my arm.

"Tom, can you make me some cereal?" I asked and he sighed.

"Sure, what would you like?" he asked but I raised my shoulders.

"Suprise me." I said and with that he walked off.

I did my morning routine that is extremely hard when you're tired...

After that I went to the kitchen, luckily, Tom was now also looking tired. Morning energy never lasts long...

"Goodmorning Mari, did you sleep well?" Tom asked as he handed me my bowl with cereal.

"Yes, I did, thank you." I replied and he gave me a quick nod.

"So today we're gonna buy gifts dor eachother?" I questioned and he happily nodded.

"But when is christmas actually?" I asked and sat down in front of me at the table.

"Not tomorrow morning, but the morning after that." he said and I nodded.

"So we have two days to go christmas shopping." I asked and he happily nodded.

"Are you also gonna get some stuff tomorrow? With Daniel or alone?" he asked but I raised my shoulders.

"Probably with Daniel." I said and he carefully placed one hand on mine.

"Wait! I have an idea." he said and he ran off.

What the hell is he planning to do?

"You ready?!" he yelled from his room making me giggle.

"Sure." I replied and he walked out.

He then walked out wearing my glasses, seeming very proud.

"You don't even look that bad..." I said and he sat down in front of me.

"How do you see with these?!" he exclaimed making me giggle.

"I'm just a blind human." I said and he nodded.

"Are you almost done eating? I wanna go shopping." he said and I handed him my half empty bowl.

"You're not finished yet, eat up." he said but I pushed the bowl away.

"I'm done, I don't want more." I said making him sigh.

"Okay, but we're not gonna go eat in town." he said and I nodded.

"Fine! Let's go." I said and I grabbed my coat from the hanger.

"It's pretty cold outside, you should wear a hat." he said and I sighed.

"I don't have one, I think." I said but he shook his head.

"Oh really? You can have mine for the day." he said as he handed me his simple dark blue hat.

"Thanks, but if you get cold, just tell me." I said and he nodded.

"Let's go." he said and he calmly grabbed my hand.

"I love you." I wispered and I kissed his cheek.

"I love you too, darling." he replied and he quickly pulled me closer.

He placed his head on top of mine, and carefully kissed the top of my head.

I felt him move a little bit, and I also heard a small chuckle.

"At the moment I'm hugging Mari, no idea why, but it's nice." Tom said and I giggled.

"Why on earth are you acting like you're filming us?" I asked and he chuckled.

"So were now gonna go christmas shopping, and I still need to explain a few things to Mari about christmas because this will be her first time celebrating it." Tom said as he grabbed my hand and walked outside.

He then turned his head to me and smiled at me.

"I was just reminding myself how amazing my life is...." he said and I rolled my eyes.

We decided to just walk to some stores, and buy some things that we'd both like.

Tom was gripping my hand tightly, and he was looking around for some shops with cool things.

Tom had sunglasses on, he said it was because he wanted to just be alone with me for the day.

"Oh, let's go to the book store, the big cool one." I said and he laughed.

"Sure, whatever you want." he said and I happily giggled.

"Yeeeeh, thank you, Thomas." I said making him smile down at me.

After five minutes we had arrived at the book store and we had split up, because he was at the shakespeare department while I was at the fanatasy department.

"Oh my god, are you Mari Hart?" I heard a girl say and I turned around to see a teenage girl with a bright pink phone tightly held in her hands.

"Yes, hi." I said and I quickly placed my book down.

"Can I maybe get a picture?" she asked and I nodded.

"Sure!" I exclaimed and I quickly took a picture with her.

"Thank you so much." she said and she quickly ran off.

"So? You got your first fan attack." I heard Tom say but I sighed.

"Stop, you're making me blush." I said and I grabbed another book.

"Hehe, well, I try. Have you found any good books?" he asked but I sighed.

"They're all really hard, alot of hard words that I don't know." I sighed and he grabbed both my hands.

"Hey, doesn't matter, I love you." he said and he quickly pecked my lips.

"Your life is so easy, you know every English word in the whole world. But I know probably 5% of it, it's just so mean and unfair!?" I exclaimed making him chuckle.

"And that is adorable, so don't worry about it, darling." he said and he kissed my forehead.

"I won't, but it's just very annoying." I replied and he quickly twirled me around.

"You are beautiful, always, even if you weren't able to talk a word English, I'd still love you." he wispered making me blush again.

"Hey beautiful, wanna go get something to drink?" he then asked and I nodded.

"Sounds great." I said and he quickly grabbed my hand before walking out.

"We can also just go home and get a drink there." Tom said but I gave him a pouty face.

"I don't wanna walk, Thomas." I whined and he chuckled.

"Too bad, we're gonna, and I'm not gonna carry you in public." he said and I sighed.

"Fine, then we'll walk." I said and he nodded before grabbing my hand.

Then we'll freaking walk, I guess.
