Chapter - 46

Next whole day Manik was super duper busy in his work as because tomorrow they had the farmhouse plan and he was sure he will not be able to come to office at least for two to three days so he tried to cover up as much pending work as he could. He left for the office before Manvi woke up and the whole day he didn't called to Manvi he called Nandini just to know the well being of his family and that call was not more than 30 seconds. The yesterday man too came and Manik asked his PA to make a space for him. Moreover Rohit and his Mom too came at Malhotra Mansion. Manvi played with Ronit and smurfy but she was missing Manik a lot. It was evening now Rohit left with his Mom. Manik was still not at home it was for the first time he was so much busy in his office even Mr.Malhotra was not at home. Nandini and Nayonika were busy in the kitchen. Manvi was very sad nor did any of Chacho or Maushi called. She walked towards the kitchen with smurfy and pulled Nandini's jeans to got her attention who was busy in laughing with Nayonika so she didn't noticed Manvi.
"Mama..!"At last Manvi shouted angrily and then Nayonika and Nandini look at Manvi.
"What happened Manvi?"Nandini asked worriedly.
"Nobody has time fol(for) me..! Ap busy ho,granny busy hain..! GrandPa bhi ghal(ghar) nahi hain..! Papa nay mj say sbha say baat nahi ki..! Main ap sab say nalaaz(naraaz) hoon..!"Manvi shouted in one breath and run from there leaving Nayonika and Nandini shocked.
"We ignored Manvi..!"Nayonika said shaking her head.
"I never saw her reacting this much..!"Nandini said in disbelief.
"Nandini..! She is very sensitive..! Wo choti say choti baat ko bht feel karti hai..! Manik kay extra care aur love nay usy thora ziddi bana diya hai..! Thori si bhi ignorance bardast nahi hoti us say..!"Nayonika said patting Nandini's shoulder.
"Aur waisy bhi Manik ki beti hai aggression usy heritance me mila hai..!"Nayonika said laughingly and Nandini sighed. "Dunya kay sab say ziddi baap beti mery he hisay main any thy" Nandini thought sadly.
"What should we do now?"Nandini asked rubbing her forehead.
"Call Manik..! Only he can handle his princess..!"Nayonika said smilingly and Nandini was about to call Manik when..
"I am home..!"They heard Manik's voice and they rushed towards lounge. Manik was almost lying on the couch all tired. His tie,blazer and laptop bag was on the floor. "Nandini pani pila do..!"Manik said in a low voice and Nandini noddingly left while Nayonika sat beside Manik. He placed his head in Nayonika's lap and closed his eyes.
"Where is your Dad?"Nayonika asked ruffling Manik's hair.
"He is at some dinner will be here soon..!"Manik whispered.
"Aj ka din bohat hectic tha?"Nayonika asked kissing his forehead.
"Bohat..!"Manik said opening his eyes lazily.
"Aur apny hectic day main tum ya bhool apni beti ko bhool gye..! Aur wo sab say naraz ho kar apna room locked kar k bethi hai..!"Nandini said smilingly giving him the glass of water and he immediately got up.
"What? Naraaz hai?"Manik shouted worriedly. "But why?"He was confused.
"Mani..! If you are forgetting then let me remind you tum nay aj sara din Manvi say baat nahi ki..! Sbha tum us kay jagny say pehly chly gaye thy aur abhi raat kay 9 baj rahy hain..! Tum nay jb bhi call kiya mj say baat kar k band kar diya..! Mani usy tmhra pyaar lainy ki adat hai tmhri extra attention ki adat hai..! That's why wo sara din tm say baat na krna afford nahi kar pai,aur gusa tou usy tum say mila hai..! Jo sara ka sara us ny mj pay aur Mom pay nikaal diya hai..!"Nandini explained smilingly and Manik felt so much guilty. Really he totally forgot about this point that he didn't called Manvi the whole day. Without drinking water he run towards Manvi's room at the same time Mr.Malhotra too came and got to know the story he too followed Manik.
"Meri jaan..! Mera bacha..! Open the door..!"Manik said worriedly knocking the door.
"Ni..!"They heard Manvi's shout.
"Papa sorry hain jaan..!"Manik pleaded.
"Aur GrandPa bhi..! We both are sorry..! Princess open the door..!"Mr.Malhotra too knocked the door.
"No..! Manvi ap dono say gusa hai..! Ap log mj say pyaal(pyaar) nahi kalty(karty)..!"Manvi shouted and It was clear from her voice that she was crying. Manik was getting restless with each passing second.
"We love you baby..! Meri jaano..! Please Papa sorry hain na..! Aik bari darwaza kholo..!"Manik again pleaded when Nayonika and Nandini came with an extra key. Manik immediately opened the door and rushed in. While Nayonika,Nandini and Mr.Malhotra didn't entered the room as they wanted Manik to confront Manvi alone. They walked back to lounge.

Manik entered the room and saw Manvi sitting on the floor. She was sniffing and her eyes were totally red due to constant crying. Manik sat beside her and she look at him with teary eyes.
"Papa say gusa?"Manik asked sadly wiping her tears.
"Bohat ziada..!"She said angrily shrugging his hand away.
"I am sorry..!"Manik said politely pulling her in his lap.
"Sholly not accepted..!"She said shaking her head in a no. "You don't love me..!" She said sadly and Manik sighed.
"Acha look at me..!"Manik said in a serious tone and made her look at him. "Ab ap meri baat carefully suno..! Agr Papa busy hain aur unhn ny ap say baat nahi ki that doesn't mean ki don't love you..! Why do work? Main itna hard work kise liye karta hoon? You know why?"Manik asked caressing her hair and she shook her head in no. "For you..!"Manik said smilingly.
"Fol(for) me?"Manvi asked in a confused tone and Manik nodded.
"Yeah..! Because I want my princess to have all the facilities...! You are so young to understand all this but the thing I want you to register in your choto head is Papa loves you more than anything in this whole world..! Aur agr Papa ny aik din apni princess say baat nahi ki tou is ka matlab ya nahi kay Papa ka pyaar apni jano kay liye kam ho gya..! Same thing goes with GrandPa..!"Manik said in a serious yet polite tone and Manvi thought about Manik's words she registered something in her mind and nodded.
"I am sholly Papa..! Myny bad girls wala behave kiya na..!"Now she understood that her Papa loves her a lot.
"No sorry..! Papa wants a kissie..!"Manik said smiling and Manvi gave a buss on Manik's cheek.
"Ok..! Papa ko bohat bhook lagi hai..! And Papa knows kay meri jaan nay bhi kuch nahi khaya..! Abhi hum bahar jayen gay sab say friendship karen gay aur phir aik healthy dinner? Ok?"Manik said lovingly and got up from the floor with Manvi in his arms.
"Done..!"Manvi said happily and Manik sighed in relief. She was well understanding girl..! Then Manik came out of the room and saw everyone sitting worriedly.
"Ji..! Tou everyone Manvi wants to say something to all..!"Manik announced and encouraged Manvi to speak up.
"Mama,Granny,GrandPa..! I know you all love me..! Papa nay mjy sab samjha diya hai..! Manvi is sholly on hel(her) behavior..!"Manvi said smilingly and all the three pounced on Manik and Manvi for a group hug and showered Manvi with kisses.
"Ok..! Abhi main fresh ho kar ata hoon..! Ap Mama kay sath dinner main help karo..!"Manik said pecking Manvi's check and handed over Manvi to Nandini.

Manvi was sitting on the kitchen counter while Nayonika and Nandini were arranging dinner.
"Nayonika yaar baat suno..! Mery tracks nahi mil rahy kahan rakhy hain..!"They heard Mr.Malhotra's shout and Nandini giggled.
"Wow Mom..! Ya sary mard aik jaisy hoty hain..!"Nandini said laughingly and Nayonika to laughed. Then Nayonika left. Manvi was very quiet which was very unusual for the little soul.
"Koi baat karni hai Mano?"Nandini clearly guessed because whenever Manvi wanted to talk something serious she kept quiet. Nandini stood in front of Manvi and held her chin between her thumb and forefinger. "Meri jaan preshan hai?"Nandini asked worriedly and Manvi nodded. "Why? What happened?"
"Mama..! Myny aj ap kay misbehave kiya na..! Ap ko hult(hurt) kiya..! Ap mj nalaaz(naraaz) tou ni hain na?"Manvi asked with teary eyes and Nandini hugged Manvi tightly.
"Aray mera baby..! Main bhala q naraz hoon ge ap say? Ap tou meri jaan ho..! Aur Mama kbhi bhi apny bachoon say narazz nahi hoti tou ap nay aisy kesy socha? Bhool jaoa jo hua..! Aur waisy bhi galti meri bhi the I shouldn't have ignored you..! Mama bhi sorry..!"Nandini said lovingly and Manvi hugged Nandini more tightly. Suddenly Nandini felt two familiar arms engulfing both in hug from back it was Manik..!
"I love you both..!"Manik whispered kissing his beauties heads. After that they had a sweet family dinner and today Manik himself made sure that Manvi eat healthy food.

"Mama..! Animals wali stoly(story) sun'ni hai..!"Manvi demanded as MaNan tucked her in the bed.
"Yes..! Mjhy bhi sun'ni hai..!"Manik said naughtily and Manvi snuggled in Manik.
"Ok..! So once upon a time there lived a baby elephant in the jungle..!"Nandini started the story and Manik kept patting Manvi's hair. The little soul being so much tired slept within seconds. Then kissing her forehead and tucking smurfy too in the blanket MaNan too retired to their room as tomorrow they had to leave early for the farmhouse as all the packing and preparations were already done.
