Booboo' s POV
"Adia I'm home!" I yell to my girlfriend of 3 years. No reply."Adia!" I yell again.

My phone vibrates.

"Hello?" I say.

"Are you Booboo?"

"Yes."

"Ok. I've called to let you know that Adia and her mother have been in a car wreck."

At that moment my whole world came crashing down on me.

"Her mother is fine but she isn't waking up. Were doing all we can to keep her alive. If all goes well she will be awake in a couple weeks at the most. Her mother says that you are her boyfriend so she would like you to be there when Adia wakes up."

"Ok I'll be there." I say hanging up the phone.

*at the hospital*

"I'm looking for Adia." I say when I get to the front desk.

"Room 212 but you can't go in there yet. They haven't even gotten everything properly set up like they should've by now but they're workin on it."

"Ok I'll just wait here then."

"No go on back they should have everything set up by the time you get there."

"Thank you so much."

"Anything for young love."

I walked back to her room and the woman at the front desk was right they had everything set up properly when I got there.

"Can I go in yet?" I asked one of the doctors.

"Yes I think she's been properly hood up."

"Ok thanks."

I walked in and there she was hooked up to all the machines and everything. I really hope she wakes up.

*one week later*
Adia's POV

I woke up in a white room."Where am I?"

"Baby you're awake. I thought I lost you forever."

"Booboo where am I?"

"Do you remember anything that happened baby?"

"The last thing I remember is being in the car and some guy crashed into us."

"Ok."

"How long have I been in here?"

"A week."

"Wow."

A doctor came into the room.

"I see that you have awakened. I am very sorry to inform your that your mother has died."

"My mother died?"

"Yes she died just a few hours ago."

"How?" Booboo asked.

"She died of a heart attack."

"My mom is gone."

"I'll give you two some time to let all this sink in." The doctor said before leaving me and Booboo alone.

"Everything's gonna be okay babygirl. Its gonna be alright. You'll get through this. You're strong."

He said holding me tight. I just sat there with his arms around me crying.

"I love you babygirl."

" I love you too Booboo."

・end of flash back・

"That was 3 years ago today you know that Adia?" Booboo says kissing my head.

"Yeah our first I love you and my mom's death." I say leaning over her grave.

"I told you you'd get through this babygirl. Now I have an important question. Will you Adia make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

"Yes!"

"He's a keeper." I replay my mom's words in my head.

"You were right mom he is a keeper." I say to my mom's tomb stone."You were right."
