Josephine A. Jones was just another blue-eyed, dishwater blonde haired girl. Life had been going swimmingly for her. That was until a cool August afternoon. Her life would be derailed as of that day. Josephine's breath caught in her throat as she slowly shut the door she had just opened a minute ago. Behind the now closed door was a short red-haired woman in her and her boyfriends bed.

The tears began to creep up on her as she clutched her purse. Just an hour ago her boyfriend had texted her that he was sick. "Sick my ass!" She though angrily. Gathering all her strength she brushed away the tears from her eyes and opened the door. Her boyfriend stood tall, dark, handsome, and now a gaping mouth realizing she was home.

"This, I, I'm sorry! Please don't leave me, she means nothing to me I promise!" He yelled reaching out to her as she turned away from his nude form. "Hercules is mine, we're over." She stated calmly. The said German Shepherd peered in from the door way growling at the intruder.

"What do you mean nothing Lee! I've been there for you when this bitch has been at work.'The red-haired girl screamed shrilly, her face becoming beet red. "Tara, this isn't the time. She's my girlfriend!" Lee said flustered.

"I work two jobs, I'm the bitch that pay for everything whore." Josephine tossed over her shoulder as she turned on her heels and left. Hercules forgetting about the red-haired girl followed Josephine. Josephine luckily had yet to move her stuff to there small house in town. She had been in the process of moving to Hollow. Bursting out of the screen door ,she opened it long enough for Hercules ,then stomped to her truck.

Josephine could hear Lee inside cussing and moving about. She didn't want to be here when he got out of the house. "Hercules lets go for a ride!" She shouted to her faithful companion. Sure enough he came bounding to the truck with what she swore was a grin. Hercules cleared the jump into the truck no problem.

Like a king he perched himself on the passenger seat waiting to go. She teared up a bit at the sight of her sweet dog. He was always there when she needed him, like a knight in shining armor. She would have to remember to buy him a new bone later for growling at that stupid girl. Josephine closed the door and got in on her side. Turning the truck on she nearly floored it to get out of there.

Hercules groaned a bit trying not to fall off his seat. Josephine drove like a mad woman seeing Lee running after her in her rear view mirror. "What am I going to do Herc?" She whispered quietly to her canine companion.
