Itachi's pov~

"Nii-chan, I feel weird." ~

Those same words rang through my head a few times every minute. I should've known something was wrong with Miyuki.

Sasuke's been silent since she collapsed.

-flashback-

Miyuki was the first to finish her food, and push her plate away.

Mmnn, nii-chan. I feel weird." Her last words slurred as her eyes slid closed and she collapsed on the floor. The pillow she sat on slid out from under her.

Itachi and Sasuke turned and gasped as they saw her collapse.

"Miyuki!"

Itachi's pov-

"What happened?!"

Mother tried to get a word in but father would have none of it.

"Mikoto! Be quiet!"

Father turned to Sasuke and i.
"You two!" he seethed.
"I thought you were supposed to be taking care of her!.. - i should punish you!"

"W-we -" sasuke tried to say something but stopped short at the glare father threw at him.

"Father, if i may."

Father turned towards me and narrowed his eyes staring me down.
"Go on." he said , his words underlined with venom.

"Tell me why your sister is in critical care."

"She did not say she felt bad until a moment before she collapsed. But if you must punish someone punish me. Sasuke does not know better. I should have know. I apologize father. I should have checked if she was alright."
I said ,my voice cracking at the end.

I dropped to my knees and bowed.

"If anything happens to Miyu , i will be held accountable. I take full responsibility for my sister's health." i said, just above a whisper.

No one spoke. I could feel their stares of shock . i closed my eyes and waited knowing i would recieve punishment.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and flinched.

"Itachi. Stand up son.. It was not your fault. I shouldn't have yelled. You could not have known.." father said in a calm voice and pulled me to my feet.

We stood in the waiting room- to anxious to sit - and waited for them to tell us something about Miyuki.

~Miyuki's pov~

Everything i see is white... I'm scared.

"Ita-nii! Sasu!" Nothing.

Everywhere I turned was nothing.

It's so lonely here.

"Hello! Is anybody there!" i called out.

"Uf!" i sat down and looked around.

I-is this... Am i d-dead.

"No darling." came a dreamy voice.
I gasped and jumped up looking around.

"Who said that?!"

"I did." I jumped and turned around.

Blood red eyes, startling white hair , is what I saw first. A girl, really short.

"Hey! Im not short! Im your age! This is normal height for our age! So your the short one!" she yelled at me.

I huffed and sat down with my arms crossed.

She giggled. "You sure have a temper. Don't cha."

"No i don't."

"Defensive." she said in a singy song voice.

"I am not defensive." .

She rolled her eyes. "Ok then."

I turned away from her and she giggled.

"You're funny."

"What?" i turned only to shriek and fall back.

Her face was right in front of mine .

*she's pretty*

"Thank you." she said in a calm voice.

I stared at her .

"Can you stop that?"

"Stop what?" she gave me a confused look.

"Stop what you're doing! I think something and you know what it is stop that!"

She gave me an exasperated look.
"You think i want to know your thoughts! Theyre so loud i can hear them!"

I was about to say something but paused midsentence.

"What's your name?"

She paused .

"Kei Tsukiko."
