A/N: Uhm, this chapter was hard for me to write, and I almost couldn't do it, but please don't kill me. PREPARE FOR LOTS OF TEARS. Ily :) (And please don't get mad because I promise the next chapter makes things a bit better.)

"I had no clue what happened, only that I woke up and saw Stiles, so I followed him. When he finally stopped, someone stepped out of the shadows and then Stiles was suddenly dead. I didn't have time to grieve, because then I was unconscious. I woke up and Liam was sitting in the chair next to me, in the same situation I was. Weak and tied to a chair. That's when you guys showed up." We were back at the hotel, Stiles and Charlie were off somewhere taking care of Liam. I was explaining what happened to me while Will and a man named James listened carefully.

"I knew they used that stuff on you. It's the only way they'd be able to lure you out," Will stated, shaking his head. "This is worse than I anticipated. I didn't think it would take this long to find your friends."

James grunted and leaned forward slightly, something I realized he did when he spoke. "This is going to take a lot longer. They want to keep playing games with us. They want us to find them so they can mess with our heads. As long as they're one step ahead of us, this will take forever." James scratched the side of his shaven head and relaxed back into his seat. He had a chubby face and warm eyes, making him easy to talk to. His face was always shaven like his head, and his body was fairly average, maybe a little more. He was a nice guy, didn't seem to be untrustworthy. I liked him.

"How do we get a step ahead of them?" Will questioned, raising his eyebrows. He looked at James, then at me, waiting for an answer.

"We just have to figure something out. We'll start planning tomorrow, then leave on Friday," James said, absentmindedly playing with his watch. Will nodded in understanding, but stayed silent. James opened his mouth to say something, but the sound of screaming shut him up.

"I'm going to kill you!" That was Liam's voice. . .

"Not if I kill you first!" Charlie. . .

"GUYS PLEASE CALM DOWN!" That was definitely Stiles.

Will and I exchanged a look, both of us with wide eyes, both of us horrified. "What the hell was that?" Will practically snarled, angrily storming off towards the other room. I followed close behind and pushed past Will once I made it to the doorway. "Charlie," Will growled, slipping past me to get into the room. Charlie and Liam were standing over Stiles, who was lying on the ground covering his face with his hands, and they were wolfed out.

"Liam, what's going on?" I asked gently, stepping forward to place a hand on his shoulder. He slowly shifted back to himself and looked over at me, his eyes still yellow. "Liam," I warned, waiting for his excuse.

"That creep tried to--"

"NO!" Charlie screamed, and then he jumped at Liam, pushing me back against the wall. It was a mess, both of them fighting it out, fangs and claws. Stiles was trying his hardest to shuffle out of the way, managing to get stepped on only twice.
