After the murder of his sister, Choi Eun Sol, Mu Gak is determined to become a police inspector and take revenge for her sister's death. He leaves his aquarium after the incident happened . He is desensitised and is unable to smell or taste his food. He met Oh Cho Rim while catching a thief and astonished by how Cho Rim was able to track the criminal's path. He doesn't believe that such ability of seeing a smell was possible at first. She soon found out that Oh Cho Rim should've died instead of his sister.
Shin Se-kyung as Oh Cho-rim/Choi Eun-seol
Cho Rim shares the same name with Mu gak sister. She witnessed the murder of her parents and lived on as the sole witness of the barcode serial murders. She has a strange ability-being able to see smells as patterns in the air after waking up from a coma that lasts for 3 mos but she doesn't remember anything from her past. She was taken care of under the name of Oh Cho Rim by a retired police officer. She forms a team with Mu Gak, and together, they work to solve the series of barcode murders in exchange, Mu Gak should join her in her comedy act.
Namgung Min as Kwon Jae-hee/Jay Kwon Ford
He is the popular chef. His girlfriend Ma Ri was killed by the barcode killer which is him. He has this psychopathic need to own his victim’s lives and stories and put it on a book with a barcode on it. He suffered (I forgot .Mian) wherein he can't distinguish people's faces unless he hear them talk.
Yoon Jin-seo as Yeom Mi
She is indeed a genius lieutenant. She already had this instinct about the killer. He let Mu Gak joined her special project to catches the killer since Mu Gak was able to find Ma Ri's car (though it's possible through the help of Oh Cho Rim). She's a good friend of Oh Cho Rim and later found out that she's the daughter of the deceased fisherman couple who was killed by Chef Kwon.
Random Thoughts:
I pity Chef Kwon character, I want him to stay alive and realized for himself what he have done wrong. (Well, I'm not the director.xD) . Other police officers are sort of stupid. Actually all of them except Lt. Yeom Mi.xD . Chef Kwon is a genius also he have different chambers in his house. I also feel sorry to Cho Rim and Mu Gak for not having a peaceful honeymoon since the police officers chased them esp.Cho Rim, (whom they've found out possessed such amazing ability ) to investigate their case.
