"If you guys never met what would your life be like?"
Pearl: Well the only way for us to have never met is if we hadn't joined the Rebellion . Hmm....in that case I probably would still be serving Homeworld as a servant , Amethyst on the other hand would most likely be training to be a fighter gem because that's was what Kindergarden gems were made to do.
Garnet: I would be not allowed to exist as who I am right now. Ruby and Sapphire would probably still love each other but wouldn't be allowed to fuse into me. So I would be non-existing. If we hadn't met each other, without considering the Rebellion, we all would have been sad and lonely because Homeworld considered us imperfect and useless.
Steven: But, what about me?
Pearl: Well, it would be hard to say. If Rose, even without us succeeds in the Rebellion she might have still found Greg and have you. If she fails she probably would have been outright executed by Homeworld or dead in the battlefield. Earth would be used for Homeworld to make new gems that would suck the life here on Earth and essentially kill all life on Earth. That would mean you wouldn't exist.
Steven: *smiles* Well, good thing you guys joined my mom because if you didn't, Earth probably would be nothing now.
Everyone except Steven: *nods in agreement*
