Chapter 16: We still have a chance

{I know i'm updating earlier than usual but hey its vacation might as well make use of this time...enjoy}

Lloyd's POV

I run towards the overlord and Kaila....he'll pay for what he did to her.The ninja keep attacking the stone warriors and trying to prevent the overlord from launching another dark missil. My uncle Wu jumps and kicks the missil from the warrior's hands and throws it to Jay "Jay!" he yells and jay shoots it away "this one's out of the ball park!" Jay says. I jump to the top of Garmatron and start powering up a big energy ball. Kaila steps in front of the overlord in an attempt to protect him "Kaila step away!" i yell and she just growls at my warning and attacks me. "Kaila this isn't you!" i say trying to free her from the overlord's possession on her.She just powers up a big ball of water and throws it at me launching me off the machine. I could see the overlord smirk at what she did..'that damn bastard you'll pay!' i thought as I charge at the overlord and shoot three energy balls at him. he falls off, kaila was about to attack me but the overlord gives her a sign to step away from me and she does. he charges towards me shooting 4 purple beams at me from his arms and i shoot one to keep his shots away "fight father.." i said trying to help my dad snap out of it. "fight him!" i say and he keeps switching from my dad to the overlord "you..will..not..get..rid..of..me" my dad says as he keeps switching back "my son.." he says "dad fight it!" i yell "your father is...GONE!!" he says as his shot overpowers mine and causes an electric orb to form around me as he shoots me to the far end of the sides of the island.

Misako's POV

I was trying to keep Kaila away from my son but then i see my son being thrown to the far side of the island and passing out and i run to him "my son!" i yell "Lloyd!" Wu says as he runs to us. "STOP!"yells the overlord "we will go to Ninjago city to finish this once and for all!" he says as he goes through the portal leaving us behind."Noooooo" Kai yells.the rest of the ninja run to us.

*Le time skip of 15 minutes :3*

I keep running my hand around Lloyd's forehead for 15 minutes trying to wake him up and it works!he groans and gets up "did..did we win?" he asks "sadly no.." Wu said "but the prophecy.." Lloyd says but falls down again "woah easy kid" Cole said as he helps him up. "m..my leg.." he says as he walks to the edge nearly touching the sea. "did i fail..?" he says "we may have lost this battle..but we still have you.." said Wu "he's right kiddo we can try next time" said Jay "but we cant even get to the final battle unless we get off this island!" says Kai as he throws a rock to the sea. "there has to be a way.." thought Zane as the falcon flew by and Zane smiles "you have an idea?" Jay asks a little bit excited "no..but he does..." he answers as he points to the falcon flying above us and we follow it.For some reason it lead us back to the Temple of Light. "the temple of light..but we've already been here" said Cole "maybe..but there's another scroll that says there's a special...weapon..in here" I say as i look at the scroll in my hand "wait look it has our swords in the corner.." says Kai as he points to the swords on the scroll "hey guys take a look there's a hole in each pole!" Jay yells and they all nod as they enter their swords inside each pole.

Cole's POV

we all insert our swords into the Poles and then the circle in the middle starts to glow then..moves away revealing something we've never seen before."its the weapon the First Spinjitzu Master used to fight the overlord..." said Sensei Wu mentioning the old rusty mech in the center that appeared "so you're saying the first spinjitzu master once sat here" i said as i jumped in and sat on the seat in the mech "get me outta here how does it work?" i ask "sadly..i think time has done her in.." said Dr.Julien referring to the mech as 'her'. "if it worked with first spinjitzu master...then it might work for the next spinjitzu master" said sensei Wu as he motioned to Lloyd "it's worth a shot" Lloyd said as i got off and he sat instead "nothing is-" but then he gets cut off by the machine starting to turn back to its bright golden color and starts moving "woah!" Jay yells in awe "awesome!" i yell "looking good kid!" kai yells "well that's how he's getting off.....but what about us?" Jay says then we hear a loud roar from outside "it's our dragon!" Kai yells "i believe we just found our ride off this island" said sensei Wu as he ran a hand through his long white beard.
