The rowdy yelling and cheering of your older brother and his friends was starting to grate on your brain like nails dragging agonizingly slowly down a chalk board.

The worst part was that football wasn't even his favorite sport, nor did he enjoy watching it, but because his friends loved the game he would cheer along with them as loudly as he could.

You had just settled back into the warm covers of your bed and resumed your place in your book when another loud whoop caused you to jump and lose your place once again.

With a loud groan you dragged yourself out of bed and made your way downstairs and into the den where your brother and his friends had their gazes locked on the large television screen and popcorn littered the floor.

"Haz," You called to your curly haired brother, but he gave no reply. "Harry." Still there was no reply and you were starting to grow more agitated by the minute.

"Harry Edward Styles!" You said as loudly as possible and immediately all five heads shot over in your direction.

You suddenly didn't feel quite as confident as before as Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Liam's eyes were all focused on you. The eyes that made you the most nervous were the gorgeous chocolatey ones that belonged to Liam Payne.

You had always thought your brother's friends were good looking, but had seen them as older brothers, except for Liam of course whom you'd had a crush on since the moment you'd laid eyes on his curly brown locks and warm, gentle brown eyes.

"Yes love," Harry said as he rose from his seat and came over to you, placing his hand gently on your forearm. As soon as Harry had stood up his friends' attention had turned back to the football game, all but Liam's. "What can I do for you?"

You tore your gaze from Liam's mesmerizing eyes and looked into your brother's hazel ones.

"Could you lads please keep it down in here?" You asked with puppy dog eyes. "I'm trying to relax upstairs."

"Sorry love," harry apologized as he gave you a warm hug, knowing how stressed you'd been with school as of late. "I'll tell the lads to keep it down."

"Thank you." You replied before taking one last glance at Liam, who gave you a small smile, and walked back upstairs to your room to continue where you had left off in your book.

The boys continued to make some noise every now and again, but it was more bearable and you were able to block them out by playing some music softly, getting lost in the words on the page in front of you.

After about three chapters you were pulled from the suspense and adventure filled world of Divergent when a soft knock sounded against your bedroom door.

"Come in." You simply said assuming it would be Harry just coming to check up on you.

The door opened slowly, but instead of seeing the long, curly locks of your silly older brother, you saw short brown hair that was quaffed slightly in the front. Your stomach immediately filled with butterflies as you knew that that hair belonged to only one person.

"L-Liam, hey," You stuttered as you slammed your book shut and shot out of bed, hastily fixing your hair and straightening out your clothes. "Wh-what are you doing up here?"

"Oh, um, I just thought I'd come and say hello and see how you were doing." Liam replied softly as he closed the door and leaned against it. "Harry mentioned that you've been stressing with school lately."

"He did?" You asked, surprised that your brother would tell his friends such simple information that wouldn't affect them in any way.

"Yeah," Liam said softly, almost as if he were nervous or embarrassed. "I just figured I would come and check on you, 'cause a beautiful girl like yourself shouldn't be burdened by something as simple as school.
