MThe door slammed behind me as I walked in the room. I was panicking, everyone was looking at me as if I was from a different universe. A man was sitting at the head of the table. He had a black coat on along with khaki pants and had a gaunt face that looked determined to make me feel like I'm an obvious outsider. They spoke in soft whispers and almost forgot about me for a few seconds until I said "Hello, does anyone want to tell me what I'm doing here and why?" There was silence. The man at the head of the table spoke first. "We are a secret government facility that hunt the supernatural and we have gathered evidence that you are a supernatural being, that is why we have brought you here." I looked at him curiously. I got nervous and felt a tingling sensation. Me? How? I'm just a normal person living an ordinary life. I had to know more. "How long have you been doing this to people? And how did you know......" They were staring at me now. Somebody else started speaking , "We have cameras throughout the world and we saw you freeze your teacher with your magic." My thoughts went rapid and my heart almost exploded. "I... I can explain, it was an accident. I didn't mean it I swear!" I almost cried. All the guilt rushed over me. I remembered my mom telling me I was a monster. I am a monster, I thought. I started right then and there to sob. They looked at me, confused almost. They would never understand. One of the woman came to comfort me but all I said was "Can I go home?" They looked at each other until the woman said "Yes, you can go home." I ran out of the building and didn't look back thinking, I escaped. I got home to see my mom had gone to the grocery store. I went up to my room. I was finally starting to relax when I heard a loud knock on the door.
