Chapter Twenty

The next day

The next morning at squad 4 barracks Isane walked down the hall to check on the pinkette that was brought in yesterday. When she walked into the room she saw the woman sitting up in bed rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Your awake. You had captain Kuchiki and captain Soi-Fon worried there for a while."

She said as she walked over to the pinkette. Sakura looked at her with tired eyes.

"I'm not surprised I worried them. Thank you for taking care of me while I was unconscious..."

"Oh! I'm Isane Kotetsu, lieutenant of squad 4."

"I'm Sakura Shihōin. It's nice to meet you Isane." Sakura smiled making Isane's eyes widen in shock.

"Sh-Shihōin? Ah! I'm sorry if I came off disrespectful, lady Shihōin!" Isane bowed deeply at the noblewoman.

"It's alright, really! You can just call me Sakura or Saku, everyone else does. "Lady Shihōin" makes me feel like the rest of those snobby nobles." Isane looked stood up straight to look at Sakura in shock.

"I'm not like the rest of the nobles. I actually like getting my hands dirty, if you know what I mean, heheh." Sakura laughed rubbing the back of her head. Isane couldn't help but nod with a smile.

"Okay, Sakura. Would you like something to eat before your being discharge?"

"Yes, thank you! I'm starving!" Sakura smiled.

Down the hall

"What kind of food are you serving us here?!" A man yelled angerly at a squad 4 member. The man has muscles and stood around 5'9 with a mean and angry look on his face with bandages on his face and arms.

"Yeah! We're the patients here, so, you have to listen to what we say! Got it!?" Another male said after his companion as they both gave their food to the squad 4 member. He stood around 5'7. He had a crutche to help him stand up as his leg was bandaged but yet he walking fine.

"What's going on now?" Another squad member asked looking out the room she was in.

"It's those squad 11 members again. Their complaining about the food again." A male member said as he stood just outside the door.

"I-I'm sorry but we give the patients the same food that we are ordered to give them." The squad member said.

Back with Sakura and Isane

"Thanks again for letting me use this, Isane." Sakura said as she finished putting on the Soul Reaper uniform.

"It's no problem at all, Sakura. We have them just in case, you know."

"Yeah, I should head on to find Byakuya or Soi-Fon..." Sakura mumbled the last part but shook her head.

"If they come looking for me let them know I'll be walking around the Seireitei and I'll be with Jūshirō or Shunsui or just doing whatever. They know I wonder around."

"I'll make sure to let them know, Sakura." She said as they both walked out the room only to see two men towering over a squad 4 member.

"Not this again." Isane sighed.

"Where's the captain? Shouldn't he or she take care of this?" Sakura asked looking up at Isane.

"Well, you see, we don't have a captain anymore. She died doing what she loved, that was fighting."

"Who was she?"

"Retsu Unohara."

"I can't believe she died."

"You knew captain Unohara?" Isane looked at Sakura shocked. Her captain never told her anything about knowing a Shihōin other then Yoruichi Shihōin.

"Yes, I knew her as Yachiru the first Kenpachi. I had always liked Retsu better though. I'll take care of this before I go." Sakura pointed her thumb over her shoulder as she walked backwards with a smile. Isane couldn't help but blink in confusion.

'How can a 5'4, pink haired Soul Reaper take on two squad 11 members?' She thought as she followed Sakura down the hall.

"Get us better food, you hear!?" The tall man yelled.

"Yeah!" The short male said.

"B-but I can't..." The squad 4 said as the two males glared down at him.

"What's going on here?" A voice said from behind them healer. Everyone looked to see a pink haired Soul Reaper as thier lieutenant stood behind her.

"Mind your own business woman!"

"I see now, your both from squad 11, am I right?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah, what's it to ya anyways?!"

"It such a shame how Yachiru left the squad to be here to help heal people. You are a disgrace to her memory."

"Yachiru? Y-your not talking about the lieutenant?" The short man asked a bit scared.

"Of course not. I'm taking about Unohara. The first Kenpachi. She had her squad members under control, I see not any more with a new captain." Sakura frowned crossing her arms. Everyone froze as the two squad 11 members moved around the kid who had their food in his hands. He looked scared for the pink haired Soul Reaper.

"How dare you talk down on captain Zaraki, woman! We should teach you a lesson on respect!" The tall male said grabbing Sakura by the front of her uniform picking her up off the floor. Sakura rolled her eyes.

"Oh, yeah? Your about to fight a woman but I can't fight you because your both injured." She said pointing to thier injuries.

"Ha! That shows you! We're already healed! We can take you on!" The short man yelled as he threw the crutch away and tearing off the bandages.

"Really now?" Sakura smirked as her eyes shined in excitement. It didn't even take a whole second for her to get out of the guys hold and lay them out. The squad 4 memebers were completely shocked at what they had just witnessed.

"Not talking big now, are ya, damn punks." Sakura said moving a stray hair from her face. She pulled them up by their ears making them whimper in pain.

"Now, apologize to them for causing so much chaos."

"What?!"

"No way in hell!"

Sakura twisted their ears making them cry out in pain.

"Say it."

"We-we're sorry!" Both men yelled out as Sakura smiled.

"Now go straight back to your barracks, but not before apologizing to Unohara at her grave, got it?" She twisted their ears again.

"Y-yes ma'am! We'll do that right now!" With that being said she left them go as they both ran out the barracks.

"Have any trouble with any squad 11 members, let me know and I'll deal with them." Sakura said said placing her hands on her hips. They all looked at Sakura in awe
