The Next Day

Sakura woke up back in the room. Turning her head to the left she saw Haru and the twins sleeping with Yoruichi in her cat form laying next to Haru.

"Your awake."

Yoruichi said stretching out before making her way over to her younger sister.

"Yes, what happened?"

"What was the last thing you remember?"

"I remember I was going to punch Kisuke then everything went black."

She said as she slowly sat up.

"What time is it?"

"It's 4:45am."

"Then the moon should be out still right?"

"Yes."

Sakura stood up in the same clothes walking out the room with Yoruichi walking ahead of her. As they walked passed the other rooms she could feel her friends spiritual pressure coming from the rooms as she walked by them. Once she made it to the front of the store she slipped on her shoes making her way to the door. She opened the door letting Yoruichi walk out first. Sakura walked out side standing in the empty lot taking a deep breath in before exhaling with a sigh.

"I forgot how we used to look at the moon at night."

"Yes, it's been over 110 years or so."

"Sounds about right. The last time we did this was when Soi-Fon was with us."

"She was only a couple years older then you were. She has grown up and followed in my foot steps."

"Really? She's the captain squad 2 and commander of the Sealth Forace?"

Sakura asked looking down at the black cat next to her.

"That she is. She's doing a good job."

"I'm happy for her."

She smiled as she sat down on the ground leaning back on her hands as she stared at the starry night sky.

"Isn't a bit early to be outside especially for an injured person."

They turned around seeing the Kuchiki nobleman standing at the closed door.

"Byakuya? Is that really you?"

Sakura stood up dusting herself off as she looked at the man.

"I know, Saku. Our little Byakuya has grown up into a man."

Yoruichi said already knowing where this whole thing is going.

"I'll say. You may have changed and everything but is that same kid who got beaten up by big sis Yoru still inside you."

She said pointing at him. She saw his eyebrow twitch. She smiled at him. She was the only person able to get a reaction out of him.

"You've changed, Byaku. But when I get better lets play a game of tag; for old times sake."

He sighed.

"I suppose I can but only if I'm not busy."

"Okay, Byaku."

She laughed lightly as he shook his head but she and Yoruichi noticed he was smiling even though it was barly noticeable. They continued to talk and stare at the sky until the sun came up.
