"Jesus Mark! Could you take any longer?" Jack joked.
Wade had spilled his drink on the carpet, in front of the TV and Mark cleaned it up. He didn't want it to stain the white carpet in his hotel room.
Mark rolled his eyes and stood up. "It's playing commercials... You should be thanking me!"
"For what? Blocking the TV with yer ass?" Jack laughed.
"I'll have you know, I have the best goddamn ass you'll ever see!"
"Move yer ass Mark!" Jack yelled.
Mark moved out of the way of the TV and sat on the edge of the bed next to Jack.
Bob was sitting on the other bed and Wade sat on the ground.
"Wade, you know there's a chair over there right? You don't have to sit on the ground." Bob pointed out.
"I know." Wade responded.
The commercials were interrupted by the news suddenly coming on.
"Sorry to interrupt, but this is important news! A deadly virus had escaped from a testing lab in China. The virus has spread to the eastern side of the U.S. and is quickly approaching the West Coast. Teams are trying to find a cure to this terrible disease." The news man started.
Jack furrowed his eyebrows and focused on the TV.
"We advise you not to leave the safety of your home..." He stated clearly.
Mark looked over at Jack, then at Bob and Wade.
"This virus seems to have made 'real life zombies'. The virus causes the dead to function and will eat and attack any living thing it sees. There is still no yet cure to this dise-" the TV shut off and the power went out.
"Fucking Christ..." Jack whispered quietly.
"I have to go find Molly." Wade stood up and quickly left, he was soon followed by Bob.
"What the fuck do we do now?" Jack asked, looking at Mark panicked.
Mark was about to say something but was interrupted by screams and gun shots out side.
They both ran to the window and looked down to see cars swerving off the road and people running and screaming. There were police officers shooting at people. No they weren't people, they were monsters. They were eating other humans and then those 'humans' ate more humans.
The world has gone mad.
