I loved all of the boys. They were all so funny and talented, but Richard had a special place in my heart. I'd loved him from such an early age and admired him so much. Tonight was one of the best nights of my life and Richard was so cute on stage, I fell in love with him all over again.
I pulled my phone out of my sparkly jean pockets and saw several new text messages, all off the same person, Jade. I smiled as I read through them, mostly consisting of "how was the show?" and "did Richard look hot?"
I started typing in replies on how the show was and little cute things that Richard did during the show that made me smile and I knew it would make jade smile too.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOMFG. HE IS BY FAR THE MOST ADORABLE HUMAN THE GOOD LORD PUT ON THIS EARTH" Jade replied. I chuckled aloud and looked around to see if anyone had heard. The traffic of people had now dyed down and the area I was sat in was deserted, but it was only at this point that I actually realized where it was that I was sitting. Through some metallic gates I could see crew members exiting a door. My heart raced as I picked up my phone again and replied to Jade.
"OMG. I'm pretty sure I'm outside the stage door since my parents are in traffic!" I texted. Within seconds my phone buzzed again. "Holy cow, no way!" It read. I suddenly heard a familiar voice and my head shot round to the door. Sure enough I could just make out Jeremy Clarkson laughing along with some of the team. I squealed quietly to myself and sent a text to Jade with my shaky hands. "OMF JADE I LITWRALLY CSNNT DEAL RN I CAM SEE JEREMU" I sent, knowing full well there were typos, but also that I was not in the mental frame of mind to rectify them. The reply was instant. "SERIOISLY NO WAY SHOIT HELLO" she answered, obviously feeling my pain with the typo situation. I wanted to do what she said but I didn't want to come across as a creepy fangirl, which was indeed exactly what I was.
I angled my head as Jeremy walked over to his car, a familiar man walking behind him. "JASE! JAMES IS WITG JEREMU" I punched into my phone before sending it. Suddenly the metallic gates that I was stood near began to open slowly and a loud rev of an engine sounded from the other side if them. Bright LED lights came into view as I squinted my eyes. The beautiful silver Aston Martin hummed its way through the gates as a smiling Jeremy shot me a grin and a wave. My heart pounded beneath my chest as I waved back. Another sports car came purring through the gates. James stopped just after the gates and wound down his window.
"Hi, are you waiting for somebody?" he asked politely.
"Hello, erm, sort of, yes," I laughed awkwardly.
"Don't wait out here too long, its cold. If it Hammond you want then he won't be long, he wanted to speak to the manager before he left," James smiled. I couldn't believe how nice he was being.
"Oh, thank you. My parents are going to be late so I may stick around and wait," I beamed. He nodded his head in satisfaction and slowly pulled out into the road.
"Bye!" he called through the window as he sped off.I instantly messaged Jade and relayed to her what had just happened and how I was now waiting for Richard. I hadn't even planned on meeting any of them today, especially not Richard. I thought he'd already gone to be honest but the fact that he will actually drive past me any moment hurts my heart.
It didn't take long until I heard that voice. That voice I'd dreamt of hearing in real person. The voice that made me snap my neck to look at the stage door and almost give me whiplash. My face began to get hot and my palms sweaty as his little cackle echoed against the bricks. Soon enough his car roared into life and the gates opened once again. The heart beat in my chest was thumping louder and louder with every inch further the car rolled towards me. I held my breath as the electric window slowly lowered down and revealed the mans face. His eyes were dark in the light and hair scruffy from the show, but you could still see his bright teeth smiling from inside the car.
"Hi. Are you okay?" he asked me. My breath was caught in my throat as I couldn't physically get the words out.
"Y-Yes. I'm good," I finally mustered. 'Pull yourself together' I thought to myself.
"Are you waiting for anyone in particular? I could go and see if I can find them?" he offered. I blushed at his kindness but he thankfully didn't notice due to the poor lighting.
"I'm waiting for my parents. They're not inside, this just seemed like the most convenient place to sit. They're stuck in traffic at the moment," I smiled to him. He nodded in understanding.
"I heard about the traffic delays, you'll be out here for hours. Where are you going to go?" he asked, obviously concerned.
"I think I'll be alright waiting here," I said. He shook his head.
"No you can't wait out here, its freezing and late. You don't know what could happen," he said. I saw his point and it made me realize how cold I was becoming. "If you want to come to the hotel I'm staying at and stay in the bar then you can. They'll let you stay there as long as you need and I'm sure your parents could pick you up from there?" he suggested.
"Wow, really? I couldn't possibly..."
"Don't be silly!" he said, cutting me off and moving some files to his back seat and unlocking the door. "Get in," he gestured. I did as he said with shaking hands before closing the Porsche door behind me.
"You're freezing!" he said, noticing my chattering teeth and putting on the heaters and my heated seat. It instantly warmed me up and I regained my breath.
