Chapter 2: I Met a Princess

Today, I wake up to someone gently shaking me awake. I cracked my eyes open to find Hana and her friends all awake and dressed fashionably.

"What's happening?" I whisper-croaked.

"Wake up and get your lazy butt up Anna!" Hana says as I sit up and rub my eyes.

"What time is it?" I ask. "9:40 a.m." Jiyeon says as my eyes widen.

"Well that was a good sleep. What are we doing now? I thought I could do anything I wanted today." I say, yawning. "So much for a good day's rest..." I mumble.

"Too bad. We're all going to Lotte World today, and we invited more people to come with us. I know you just moved here yesterday, but don't you want to see Seoul before school starts?" Krystal asks me as I blink at her.

"Lotte World? Is... that a toy place?" I ask, not knowing what it was.

I hear the girls gasp. "Lotte World is like the best place for an amusement park! How do you not know?" Jiyeon asks as if I've offended her.

"I'm sorry if I lived in a cave." I mumbled.

"Jiyeon's just obsessed. But it's fun. You should come." Hana smiles as I nod.

"Sure. I'll come. Who else is going? Are we going alone?" I asked.

"We're going together and of course, I invited some boys."

"B-boys?" I stammer.

"Yeah! Boys." Jiyeon repeats.

"Why? You don't like boys?" Krystal asks frowning. "Isn't every teenager girl supposed to like the hot guys or just guys in general?"

"Umm.... just in case, I'm not interested for now." I say, clearing my throat. "I'll get ready."

All 3 girls nod and scuttle out of my guest room as I stretch and stand on the furry carpet. I walk to my window and open the blinds, letting some sunshine in my dark room.

I winced and peered out the window. And below me, I saw a marvelous view. The house uncle and aunty owned was a lot like ours, but more lavish and beautiful.

I saw a door at the very left corner of the room, and as I stepped through, I realized that I had my very own balcony.

"Wah." I breathed, surprised. The warm sun rays hit my light skin, and the air was fresh. The birds sang, and the neighborhood was calm.

'I can get used to this everyday.' I thought, smiling.

I look down for no reason, and I suddenly see a tall black figure standing outside the driveway.

The person looks up and I realize that it's a boy. I try to get a closer look at him, but the sunrays prevented me from seeing the guy.

He keeps on looking at me, and then his body faces a group of guys walking towards my cousin's house.

He looks at them and looks back. Then, the group of guys notice me, and I quickly rush back into my room and to prepare for the new, adventurous day before me.

After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I changed into a white t-shirt and black jean shorts, accompanied by a white unicorn galaxy oversized sweater and white converse.

I brushed my hair and lightly covered my face with BB Cream and my lips with lip balm and red lip tint.

I quickly grabbed a small shoulder bag, which contained my phone, lip balm and tint, and girl stuff. I grabbed a few hair ties just in case it got hot, and I headed downstairs.
