I didn't ask to be a horror story. I wasn't born one either. I guess I just turned into one. It's hard life, but it's a pleasurable one. It's far better to be feared, than loved.

The school bell rang and closed my book and walked to the school doors. I walked to my locker to grab my math books when the cheerleader team came. Like roses, they wow you with their beauty. But later you feel the sharp pain of their thorns. Or in my case, words. Because they are just 'angels' they volunteered to show the new students around the school. They slowed their stroll and pointed at me.

Cheerleader: "And there is the school freak." Said a brunette. Her teeth sparkled like the fake diamonds in her ears.

Me:

Suddenly I felt a hand push me straight into my locker. The door slammed. I was locked in. I stayed silent until I heard the footsteps of the principal coming from down the hallway. Footsteps of authority. I tapped my locker and got his attention.

Principal: "Hello? Is their a student in this locker?"

Me: "Yes."

He went into his office to the computer where they keep all student's names, lockers, and combinations.

Principal: "Well Ms. Springer, I don't know how you've gotten into your locker but your class is almost over."

He lets me out of my locker and I walk to the library.

I open the old doors of the library. The smell of aged pages fills the air and dust dances in the streams of light pouring from the windows. I take a book and sit in the corner. The words of the book captivate me. Tales of dragons and the brave knights that set out to slay them. My mother used to read me these stories. The library is quiet like a library should be, it gives me time to think. No one else is in the library not even the librarian with her floral print blouses, skirts, and her pixie haircut.

The bell rings. Time for English
