The sun shined through the green leaves. It is morning. I climbed down from my hiding spot and looked around. It the distance I could see the school sign, but it was covered. I walked closer. 'SCHOOL CLOSED,' it said in big, bold, black letters. I could see police tape. I walked down the street with my hood up so my face wasn't exposed. I waved to passing people. A killer wouldn't wave, would he? I looked in a large window at a flat screen. The news was on.
News Lady: "Yesterday at Glenglow highschool, a teenager by the age of 15 years old has killed another student. Stay tuned for more details."
The video of the lady turned to interviews on their thoughts on the matter, and pictures of the once happy school. In the background of the pictures and video, was a mans voice. He was like a narrator for the news.
Male Voice: "Glenglow Highschool, a place for teens to learn. But what happens when this place of learning turns into a crime scene?"
Female Being Interviewed: "I just can't believe something like that could happen."
Me: "Me neither."
Male Voice: "15 Year-old Samantha Springer was sharpening a pencil when she turned and stabbed un-armed victim Darren Williams. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime. Police officers tried pursuing the young teen but failed, so this is a message for parents. Please keep an eye on your children, and until this criminal is found curfew is 9:30 PM, keep all doors locked, and all windows closed."
News Lady: "Thank you Brett for that report."
Unarmed victim. That makes it even worse. I walked down the street some more.
Patty Wendsil: "I can't believe her. She killed Darren. What an absolute bitch, I can't believe that freak." She said, as she sat on the steps.
I looked at her. She removed the phone from her ear and covered it with her hand.
Patty: "Can I help you?!"
Me: "You can stop calling me names."
The shock washed over her face like a wave upon the sand.
Patty: "Your the murderer! Your a freak!"
She walked up to me a pushed me to the ground. She repeatedly kicked me in the stomach.
Me: "If you stop now I'll spare your life." I said in pain.
She kept kicking me. I managed to get up and run away.
...
I think I have my first intentional victim
