(callin all the grammar nazis) You wake up on a cold surface. You feel confused, this wasn't the old bed you were used to sleeping on that your Father had supplied you with. You open your eyes to see you're in a cave. The events of the previous day surface, and you stand up and begin to leave the cave. Something stops your foot from moving and you see the tip of Vincent's purple tail curled tightly around your ankle. He must have coughed you up.. you were.. alive. You felt overjoyed but scared at the same time. 'What if he changes his mind, or--'  your mind races. The tail on your ankle tightens and begins to retract,

bringing you unsteadily back into the cave.

"Where do you think you're going, beautiful..? <3" Vincent purrs, gently lifting you up, literally snaking his tail up to your Your heart catches in your throat.

"Uh-" Vincent cuts you off.

"Nowhere is where you're going, my darling~" He holds you against him with his arms by the waist, licking the back of your ear. You gulp, hearing Vincent's stomach growl. He releases you, stretching his arms, and heading out from the cave. You make a small noise as you're dragged along behind him.

"W-where're we going..?" You ask wide eyed as the cave you'd been in fades away behind sort of green greenery. It appears to be later in the day, looking at the tradjectory of the sun.

"To get a snack, of course~" He answers, humming quietly. You follow him, knowing that if he's awake and aware, there's no one and no thing that could escape him. You think about the wedding that was going to be today. You didn't even know the guy, and you were underaged. You wanted nothing to do with him but that wasn't really your choice to make. You knew he would be showing up at the house soon, confused.

"So, why were you here in these woods in the first place, dear? If your Father hadn't been there you might've been breakfast~" Vincent chuckled slightly. Should you tell him? You don't see why not. The likelyness of you not being breakfast were slim, anyways.

"I ran away.. my Father was gonna wed me to some guy.. I-I don't even know his name..." You mused.

"You were engaged?" Vincent asks, a slightly harsh tone to his voice.

"Y-yeah.." You say quietly.

"You only look to be about 16 or so, love!" He turns around surprised.

"14, actually.." Vincent had stopped slithering, turning around to face you, a dark purple eyebrow raised in surprise.

"Are you still a virgin..?" He asks mock concerned., and you get there's about to be a swift change in mood.

"I-I think.." Vincent laughs ominously but in a sort of teasing manor, like one of the voice actors for a crazed evil scientist. 'Muahaha' type laughter but in tune with Vince's deep vocals. Minus the fact from what you'd seen Vince is almost never serious.

Oh heeeell naw.

"Vincent." You say sternly, as he twiddles a finger in his messy pony-tail smiling seductively. His traits did not work on you. Vincent just groans, and slouches forward, turning around and you two continue your investigation for food.

"When was the wedding going to happen, love?" He asks casually.

"1:00 PM.. t-today.." You say.

"What?" He asks. You realize he might not be familiar with the concept of time.

"Like a little while ago.." you say softly. Vincent changes direction, going a bit more to the left.

"Where are we going now?" You ask him.

"Dinner, just looking for.. variety, you could say." he hums. You think about your bearings. If you went in that direction to his cave, turning left..

straight towards town.
