Part Seventeen

The Engagement day:

Suvreen was getting ready in her room and naro was helping her to get ready.

N: suvi me tuje bata nahi sakti me kitni khush hu tere liye, samar kitna cha ladka hai. Smart hai handsome hai and on that a successful business man teri to lautery lag gai yaar.

S: sirf smart aur handsome hone se kuch nahi hota aur nahi paiso se insan ko parkha jaa sakta hai,

N: suvreen tu kehna kya chahti hai. Samar...

S: nahi nahi naro samar ek bahut ache insaan hai. Last ek saal se jaanti hu unhe he is a nice guy... me to us ladke ki baat kar rahi hi jo tere saath aaya hai

N: ohhh wo manu jee he mere boss cum senior apne kisi official work se Mumbai aye hai

S: acha senior hai aur office ke kaam se aaye hai to subah se yaha mere gar par mumma puppa ko itni help kyu karwa rahe hai. Unhe to tuje yaha drop karke chale jaana chaiye tha

N: suvreeen

S: naro aise ladke bahut mushkil se milte hai... he is a nice guy ha tall dark handsome nahi hai par cute to hai

Naro was staring at manu who was helping everyone and a smile crept on her lips and she blushed a little.

S: acha ladka hai naro. Do you love him

N: pata nahi... wo mere senior hai me kaise

S: tu na sach me paagal hai. Samar bhi to mere boss hai and unse milke mene jaana insaan ki achiaya unki insaanyat me hoti hai naaki unki designation pe.

Manu got hurt while putting garland on door and naro saw this and ran to look after him.

Suvreen to herself." Means aag dono taraf barabar ki lagi hai my bestie is in love"

Naro's phone rang which she had left in suvi's room

" arey yeh to naro ka phone hai, receive karu. Koi private number hai... Kya karu"

Hesitatingly she received the call.

S: hello

Caller: naro

S: no i am her friend actually naro apna phone mere pass bhul gai.koi msg ho to yo can give me I ll inform her

C: ohhh its ok, just tell her to call me back.

S: ya fine

She was about to disconnect

C: bye the way are you the one who is getting engaged

S: ya

C: ohhh congrtaulations  may your coming life be full of happiness

S: thank you so much, may I know who is this

C:I am his bosss yuv...

Tanu snatched the phone

T: diii tu yaha kya kar rahi hai chal sab tera wait kar rahe hai

S: haaa tu ja me aai

Back to call

S: yeh you were saying something sorry wo

Y: its ok I can understand you go I ll call naro later on bye

S: bye

The call got disconnected and their heart skipped a beat.

Suvi in mind," muje aisa kyun lag raha hai ki me ise jaanti hu"

Yuvi in mind," muje aisa lyun laga jaise me kisi apne se baat kar raha tha"

Suvreen came out and the engagement rituals started. Suvreen and Samar exchanged the ring and everyone clapped for them.

Relatives and friends came and fed them sweets and congratulated.

Rathie, Alisha and Tanu  performed a dance for the new couple and then a lavish dinner was organized.

The party got over and everyone went back only family was left and even they were about to leave. When puppa G came and asked samar and family to join them for lunch tomorrow.

S: Uncle jee thank you so much ki aapne muje aur meri family ko lunch pe invite kiya

P: arey betaji isme thanks ki kya jarurat hai aap is gar ke damad ho aur yeh humara farz hai

S: jeee me samaj sakta hu par kya hum yeh lunch next week rakh sakte hai wo kya hai na muje kisi jaruri kaam se Delhi jaana hai kal isiliye.

R: bhai to aap chale jao me aur Alisha aajayenge.

S: tum dono bhi mere saath chal rahe ho. Unclejee hum delhi rathie ka rishta pakka karne jaa rahe hai

Rathie, alsiha and suvreen were shocked.

A: bhai tuje pata hai

S: tumlogo ne kya socha tum log mujse koi baat chupa sakte ho apne inhi haatho se tumhe bada kiya hai tumhari har baat me bina kahe samaj sakta hu.

P: arey yeh to bahut achi baat hai dono bhai ki shaadi fir saath hi karw denge.

S: jee dekhenge. Par abhi hum chalet hai

T: jeejs kal to aap delhi jaarahe ho to kyun na jaane se pehle thoda waqt aap dii ke saath spend karo

A: great idea tanu. Bhai aap abhi isi waqt bhabhi ke saath long drive pe jaa rahe ho

S: is waqt bahut der ho gai hai

R: no bhai no bahana uncle aap kuch boliye na

P: ha beta agar tum dono jaana chahte ho to jao

S: jee. (turning towards suvreen) tumhe koi problem hai to hum nahi jaaynege

Sv: its ok hum jaa sakte hai.

Samreen left for the drive and others left back to their homes.
