Steven sighed scratching the back of his head. "A dare is a dare... Even if I really don't want to do it."
"But Steven!" Connie exclaimed, pushing herself upon her elbows. "You can't even step on a bug! How are you supposed to act evil? For an entire week, nonetheless!"
"Well, Connie, that's easy..." Steven grinned almost sinisterly, looking over at her. "I'll just act like a corrupt gem."

Steven took in a shaky, deep breath, before slowly releasing it. "You can do this, Steven." He mumbled. "Just... Don't act like yourself! You got this... You got this..."
After another few, slow breaths, he stomped his way up the stairs of the beach house. Slamming open the screen door, he glared at each and every set of eyes that turned his way. "Get ready, Crystal Nerds." He sneered. "Because you're going to regret ever grounding me."
