In another state, a family is circled around a child in a hospital hoping for a miracle as a drunk driver hit the boy head on leaving the child in a coma. The mother sat outside wiping the tears from her face as her father sat next to her. "You allright Pauline?"he asked putting his hand on her shoulder. "I'm fine just wishing Sam would wake up I don't want him to die like his father" wiping the tears away.

"Honey Matt died doing what he loved putting out fires he gave his life to save a woman and her baby that were trapped in that house". "I know dad but if Sam does pass his death would be for nothing" she stated. "Honey have you ever thought of donating Sam's organs". "I don't know dad" she remarked. "Honey if you donate his organs you could save a lot of people. His lungs could save two people will lung problems, save a man who's heart is damaged, or help a woman who's liver was damaged by disease so she can see her children grow up and you can also donate some of his blood for research since he has a rare blood type" Pauline smiled at her father.

"Thanks dad maybe donating Sam's organ will make his death mean something" she said.  "I'll have a nurse get someone to help with this". He got up and went to the nurse's station as Pauline went back to her son. "Your death will not be in vain" giving him a kiss on the check. At another hospital Criss was ansty to leave he hated being in the hospital he just wanted to go back home to Vegas but the doctors informed him that they couldn't risk him taking a flight home considering his heart.

In his room he was playing with cards when a knock came to the door. He looked up and saw Molly. "Hey Criss you look unhappy". "I don't like being in a hospital I just want to go home" he replied putting a pack of cards down. "I know you don't like being in here but the doctors want to keep an eye on you just in case your heart does go into V-fib again" she remarked. "I don't know why I have a DNR so they can't bring me back to life,"Criss replied. Molly itched the back of her neck which Criss could tell Molly was hiding something that she didn't want to tell him.

"Molly what's up and don't bull shit me because I know when someone is bull shitting me" Criss remarked.  Molly took in a deep breath "Your mother went to court a few days ago and had the DNR removed from your file"she replied. Criss was ready to explode. "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT MY MOTHER KNEW MY WISHES!!" Criss exclaimed. "Criss calm down the courts thought you weren't in the right frame of mind when you made that decision you told JD that you were depressed about what was going on with your heart also that they wouldn't find a donor for you".

Criss got up ready to throw anything he could. "I should have the decision reversed"  Criss said. "Criss it wasn't their idea it was mine" she admitted. Criss was shocked. "Why would you do that Molly?" he asked as she sat next to Criss. "Because I hated seeing your mother crying while praying for you in the hospital chapel or your brothers trying to be strong for you knowing they're ready to ripe out their own hearts for you to have. Even your neice is so scared she took a leave of abscene from college because she couldn't stop thinking about you dying. Criss you're letting what's happening to you get to you. You always told me about your dad how brave he was how your father was giving three months to leave from stage four stomach cancer, but instead he lived three years. Draw from that Christopher".

"You're right I shouldn't let what's going on-". Criss started to cough as pink foamy muscus came up. Molly grabbed a face cloth and wiped his mouth as Criss was wheezing a little. "Why don't you lay back Criss and rest". Criss nodded as Molly put a blanket over Criss. She turned the lights low as Criss closed his eyes.
